I've been reading about the other three wireless providers plans on speeding up their network. AT&T and T-mobile HSPA+ and Verizon's LTE. It seems apparent to me the competition is in full force with all of them making it clear that they are all going to douse their customers with MBS by the bucket load. Just the one question that remains who is going to have the largest bucket and are they going to fill it to them rim. This is certainly an interesting situation.

Eh, ATT has already made it clear that they plan on using metered data plans for their 4G service. I bet it will cost more than the $10.00/month for unlimited 4G on the Evo.

VZW also stated that LTE would be metered. By the time LTE is deployed, WiMAX 2 will be out. Faster speeds, and unlimited service.

But Sprint is the best value in wireless.

Verizon will likely meter their data plans, as will AT&T. Even if Sprint does place a cap on WiMax consumption, it will be a large one. Sprint is aiming to use WiMax to replace existing wired connections. A cap would defeat the purpose.

Please state your resources on WiMAX2's "deployment by the END of NEXT year". Solid info and quotes will do, not hear say. Thank you.

.....and at&t will not allow tethering for the iPhone and still drop more calls in more places, T-Mobile will still be 3G, and Verizon will lower their data meter cap and charge more.

Sprint/Clear is the only one offering speed with no evil data limit. How I feel is speed is no use to me if it has a data limit, cause all the things the require speed to work good are also data intensive. If you watch a lot of Hulu, that requires speed, but guess what, that measly 5GB data cap that is attatched to 3G will be eaten up in a week, forget about an entire month!

And don't give me this crap about the reason there's an evil data limit is so that the 3G network doesn't get overwhelmed. Cause Martin Cooper, the father of the cellphone himself said carriers own more spectrum than they use. So carriers just need to use more chunks of spectrum to handle more traffic.

Anyway, how I feel is Sprint/Clear is the only one worth anythi...
