Since, like the 3G/4G Air Card, it does have to treat 3G and 4G differently.

The only different should be that. So I doubt the price point or any other details will differ.

We've not had any new plans announced, normally they tell us a couple of months in advance to ensure we are up to date when the plan releases. There will likely be a change in the internal coding, but no changes in pricing have been communicated. The 3G/4G aircards don't have any price difference from the normal 3G ones, if that's any consolation.

The phone is still going to require an everything data plan. I'm thinking there is going to be an add on option to use the mobile hotspot

No it wont, they would have announced already so the reps can all be educated in advance. The phone drops in about two months they are not going to surprise drop plans and add-ons.

It's worth noting that Verizon does not charge for the mobile hotspot feature in their Pre and Pixi Plus. It would be a bad move for Sprint to charge for that feature. I don't think it will charge.
