Okay. A brief history lesson. In February 2008 Verizon launched this top secret campaign which included Unlimited Talk for $99.99 It was not a well kept secret (of course) and AT&T matched it, T-Mobile beat it the same day. Sprint launched Simply Everything the following week. Anyone believe we might see a price decrease for Simply Everything or perhaps a $49.99 or $59.99 Unlimited Talk plan from Sprint?
...
I hope so. I mean, the trend is already taking place. verizon put out a $70 unl talk, at&t pretty matched it, let's hup sprint turns out

Boost is going to relaunch CDMA devices. Blackberry Curve, Sanyo Mirror (3810), and Sanyo Incognito. I don't see Sprint price dropping their Simply Everything plan. Maybe, an unlimited voice only plan, and unlimited voice and text plan will be added to Sprint's plans.

I'd say if they do they'll drop it from $99.99 to either $79.99 or $89.99 I don't see them lowering it anymore than that.
...
Don't be so sure. Wait until Q4 numbers are released. If they are worse than expected (like MetroPCS) I'd say you could see a revolutionary new rate plan.
...
I think they need to launch a $59.99 Unlimited Talk and $79.99 Unlimited Talk and Text option and keep Simply Everything where it is. Sure Boost has an Unlimited option, but there are those who do not deal with pre-paid.
...
well sprint used to have an unl talk an text and it was 89.99/month. so i dont think that the 79.99 pricing would fly but who knows.
...
i doubt they will any time soon. there hasnt been any talk about it and sprint works with boost and virgin mobile. i doubt a unlimited talk plan will happen any time soon

To be honest I don't think that we'll see either. Before these changes, Sprint's plans were all $10-$20 less than AT&T or Verizon (Talk 450/900 and Share 700 aside). To keep that same pricing structure around, Sprint would have to offer unlimited called at $59.99, which is the current price of 900 minutes. It would cause too much of a shake up in the pricing structure of their current plans to introduce something of that nature.
Lowering the price of Simply Everything would be a good thing for some, but it's something that I don't really feel is needed. Sprint's unlimited everything is still well cheaper than att's or vzw's unlimited everything, so there's really no need to drop that even more.
There is a need for an unlimited talk...

When the Simply everything was first introduced Sprint offered a Unlimited Talk/texting/direct connect plan for $89.99. Not enough people were interested in the plan so it was dropped off the roster. I doubt sprint will return to it due to the various other offers made with any mobile any time.

You are correct, I still every once in a while will see one of those.
...
actually, it was not because people weren't interested. lot's were. It was wsprints attempt to transition to the Simply Everything. when people are on a $69.99 plan. $89.99 sounds a lot better than $99.99. then they pull the plan out from under them, and the simply everything is only $10 more than what they're paying now, so it doesn't sound that bad. mush to their credit, it worked very well
...
Wow! I never knew there WAS an $89.99 offering. So they are just going to concede the $69.99 Unlimited Talk to Verizon and AT&T? Weird that they would be undercut by the "expensive" carriers. Any Mobile Anytime is nice but it is NOT the same as Unlimited Voice. Not everyone calls cell phones.
...
Keep in mind though, with "any mobile, any time," you also get unlimited data and texting. In today's mobile world, that is a much more valuable feature.
