Switching to Sprint
I have fallen in love with the HTC HERO from all the videos and pics I have seen. I have heard many bad things and good things about sprint since I have left them about 2 years ago. I switched to AT&T because at the time they were great and i wanted the iPhone but now not so much but I am willing to stay with AT&T. Sprint and AT&T is about the same network wise in my area. Would it be a good Idea to switch or should I wait for a AT&T android phone? I also heard one was in line to come out but AT&T canceled the production.

If coverage is about the same it makes sense to save the about $40 a month by switching
...
I would say if the coverage was the same switching would be the best thing to do... I personally don't think the iphone is worth the difference in plan price att has compared to sprint .. the hero is going to blow peoples minds i workfor sprint and was trained for the release in OCT and there was some crazy things this phone can do .. plus plan wise 450 min 7pm N&W unlimited txt and data gps sprint tv sprint radio and anytime anymobile for just 69.99 amazing dealif all you call is mobile phones cause if your not roaming every carrier is M2M .. just my opinion... 🙂

and what crazy things can it do? Cook for me?

You would want to save $50 to $80 per month on you're bill.
Iphone - Unlimited calls, text, data = $150
Sprint - Unlimited calls, text, data = $100
Sprint - 450 min unlimited to all cell phones, unlimited text and data = $70
Phone you would prefer at less than half the monthly cost = priceless.

I heard this device will only be available on the "Simply Everything Plan"? - I'm going to switch from VZW for it. 4 years loyal.
...
It will be available and any of the everything data plans. 450 data = 69.99, 900 data = 89.99, Simply Everything = 99.99, 1500 data shared plan = 129.99, 3000 data shared plan = 169.99. All of these will include the ability to call any cell phone in the country without using your minutes while in the sprint coverage area.
