Fingers crossed.

How the freak many voice mails do you people get!?
If I have more than 2 VM in my inbox at once, its a miracle.. I cant envision when I would have 4-10 voice mails at a time.

I only have 2-3 at a time for myself as well, but I have VM on my phone and I love it. It allows you to listen to the VM in order (and is very user friendly)
The other advantage that VM has that a lot of people might not know about is it gives you an easy way to save your messages. So if someone leaves you a message you want to save (for whatever reason) you can save it to your phone/media card.
I had a message my grandfather left me on my phone.. just that he called in during my finals my senior year. He died less than 4 months later, so saving it was important to me. Now I have it on my computer instead of having to listen through all my saved messages until I get to it.

Almost All Verizon phones with EVDO have VVM now. It's a Verizon feature/App. I doubt Sprint having this.

Other carriers have it (ATT for example). It's possible for them to get it (the app is actually a third party technology that Verizon purchased the rights to use) whether they will or not is another issue entirely.

Probably never.
I'm personally not a fan of VVM. If people can take the time to leave me a voice mail they should have taken 1/2 the time to send me a text. Voicemail is a form of time rape.
