thats when they can get a signal. I had them for 2 years. In Chicago, they are fine, just like any other carrier...but anywhere outside of chicago. they sucked.

have to agree, I live in Denver, and by far sprint is really good, Also works pretty good up in the mountains. I have had all the other carriers too, and Sprint has just worked really well for me.

I live in north denver and work in downtown Denver, and I have had good experiences so far.

I use a blackberry curve 8330.

Sprint is the one phone that I've used (and I've used them all) that works everywhere I go. A very close second in South Florida is...believe it or not...Metro PCS.

Verizon/Alltel is Metro and crickets first choice when it comes to Roaming.

That is a lie because my whole family lives in Miami and they have metro and my mom roams of of sprint.....

It may be set up by markets. I know for a fact that my friend in St. Louis roams on Verizon and so does my friend Shreveport, LA and Dallas, TX..

Metro PCS owns and operates their own native coverage. Roaming is provided (at an extra expense) from other CDMA providers. Certain Metro PCS plans allow you to roam on Cricket owned and operated networks for no additional charge.
