palm pre apps??
anyone know if these are really gonna happen? i have the pre and love it so far (although my first one broke). my sister has the iphone (and unfortunately i see her a lot). i understand the pre is not going to get an app store like the one that the iphone has but it seems i am hearing mixed info about new apps coming. some developers say they are coming, some say that palm is wanting to go a different direction with apps. anyone have some good insight on this or a time frame? thanks!

There is an app store for the Pre. Considering how new the phone is the number of apps is limited. The iPhone has been out for three years - of course it will have more apps. Give Palm a couple months - or even a year - and their app store will be just as good.

Palm just launched the SDK (software development kit) for webOS so its coming very soon. also before there was an app store for the iPHONE they had web based apps. you can access all of these on the PRE. there is also a PalmOS emulator available and you can launch ALL of the PalmOS apps.
