Sprint messes up another device

Why would sprint take out the trackball and change the overall design for the HTC Snap. Tmobiles looks 100 times better than the one released for sprint. 😕 😕

Sprint doesn't change anything. That would be verizon. Sprint got the phone that HTC made. Which is probably the CDMA version of it. You really think Sprint said: "hey HTC, i think you should take that track ball out just for the f**k of it"? umm NO. But you have fun with your lack of 3G coverage.

They did take WiFi out.
The Verizon verison has WiFi on it.

You really only need WiFi if you can't get the 3G service, so it's kinda silly to include it if it's unnecessary.

I agree. But whenever you mention this you get the mouth breathers that will swear up and down that verizon/sprint are intentionally blocking a "great" feature that practically everyone uses. 🙄

I actually have sprint but was looking for a replacement for the pile of junk i currently have(touch pro)... The snap had promise with the trackball. i was thinking the best of both worlds...a trackball and windows. and then it came with the d-pad and it is all but out of consideration at this point. I guess i will wait for either the Touch Pro 2 or the Palm Eos...I just feel like we get the water downed versions of everything as compared to the initial devices. Obviously verizon takes the crown for screwing its consumers out of great features from its phones.

This makes 0 sense. All GPS is unlocked, Bluetooth is unlocked, use what ever apps you want. Plus, the Verizon verison of the Snap HAS WiFI! The Sprint one doesn't.

Nope. We got the HTC verison that had the Micro SD slot added. With that, HTC downgraded the RAM, not Verizon.

Sprints HTC Touch Pro has the micro slot as well it is the HTC Diamond that does not have it. The diamond only has 8 gb of internal memory non-expandable.

we have a micro sd slot to... don't lie verizon crippled it, i know its hard for you to admit verizon did something wrong... LOL.

Its funny how i flipped it so verizon isn't crippling a phone you say its htc's fault... but with the htc snap you blame it on sprint. You just proved your blinded by Verizon and you have no common sense your just to bias to form a honest opinion on these forums.

Considering the Treo Pro fills the same role, the Snap is a bit of a waste. It's a low end/cheaper version, more or less.
