Question about Rant and Lotus help would be gratly appreciated!
Okay it has been a while since I have posted on phone scoop so forgive me if I am not up to speed on forum rules! (used to work for ATT)
Right now I have t-mobile and I am thinking of switching to sprint (dont ask me why i'm wondering that myself 👀 )
Well I am trying to decide which phone I should get between the Rant and the Lotus. I know right now the Rant is free and that is a plus however I wouldn't mind paying the $50 for a lotus either.
So hopefully someone here has experience with both so you can answer my questions about both phones. 😁
*Which has the better/faster web browser?
*Can you check your yahoo/gmail easily on either phone?
*What about ebay, myspace, youtube, etc, can you watch videos & is flash supported? ...

I never said I wanted either of those phones to have ALL those features, that's just plain silly, especially for the price they are going at. I asked all these questions so I could see which features they DO have. Once I get that info I can see which would be the better phone for me. I used to get customers who wanted to get cheap/free bb and pdas and you seem to think I am one of those people..? 😕
I just want to be well informed on the phones before I buy one and since I don't work for sprint or know anyone who has either of these phones I came here to ask for some advice. sheesh.. 🙄

I honestly like the Lotus better, the reason why is because the keys are more raised on the QWERTY keypad. The Rant has flatter keys which make it more uncomfortable to text. I LOVE the Youtube app on both tho, which is a mobile version and streams really well. I like the internet on the Lotus better as well because of the bigger screen! Hope this helps!

no I guess not.. I will probably go to the sprint store and try them both out. I don't like asking the sprint reps at that store because all they say is "theyre all good phones" so that doesnt help much 🙄

Yes, as easily as on any pull-email system.

Not sure about ebay, others are adequate.

There is an ebay ap for both for $5 a month, makes pages load much much faster, would recommend it if you use it a lot.

In my opinion, I almost despise the Rant, they're giving it out free on line right now probably to compete with some other promotion for another carrier.
I've repaired 10 to 1 Rants to Lotus. Samsung always have more software defects then any other phone manufacture (excluding Smart OS). I see a whole lot of them not being able to unlock by following prompts.
The Lotus looks a little weird being square, but it's much easier to slip into a pocket, and the inside screen is much larger, and has Outside MP3 controls, Stereo Speakers, Ability to read text from the outside ...
