I enjoy it. The starting pay now is better than when I started which pisses me off but hey, what are you gonna do. Great benefits, better than most i've seen. Free service/cheap service for friends/family. The rest kinda depends on what department or job you are in.

glad to hear that. i honestly have admired dan hesse since he was at at&t many years ago. i know there were some troubling times with sprint but i figured they have improved many metrics and can only go up from there.

its 14 days but, doesn't really matter how long they keep the phone, all that really matters is if you get a good c-sat score when they answer that automated survey call that comes 24-48 hours after the sale! 👀

so you get paid off what the score is? what's the average or the payout?

You get paid from c-sat. but phone sales are still like 40% of your commission. People act like if they get a bad c-sat they don't get paid anything. I work in a retail store and the csat system is not as bad as everyone says. Yes you need a 5 to not fail, but in my area the goal is only 72%, so basically you just have to make sure 3 out of 4 surveys are good, its really not that hard.

Actually, it is only fourteen days in retail. In Business sales it is still 6 months.

As of May 1st, I'll be part of DoD's DISA after four years of being a Sprint corporate retail employee for Sprint. When all is said and done, I'm leaving as an ASM. Anyone with a BA/BS would be wasting their time in a retail position. If I didn't go on board with DoD after I graduated with my BS in CISM, I still would have left SPrint simply because working in retail with a four year degree for the most part is not a smart educational ROI. Ask any one here crackberry and you'll find out just how much of a dick I am towards my team. Seriously, ask...

They have been around long before the Sprint PCS/Nextel Communications merger and they shall be around long after the dissolution of Sprint. Thank God I'll be part of the DoD as of May 4th, one day before Cinco de Mayo. I think I may just do a double decker in the employee restroom this Friday at 5:30 pm when I'll punch of Hell aka Sprint for the last time.

well going to work under the obama administration will certainly be a less than stellar accomplishment. most of his appointees can't even do their taxes. but i'm as much as i'd like to appreciate the words of advice, there are many people that would be thankful for a job right now.
