Any new Blackberries coming to Sprint?? Falling behind!!

The original Pearl and Curve are fazing out from AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile and multiple new models arriving to the other 3 from Blackberry. AT&T is has the Bold and will be getting the new 8900 Curve and Pearl flip. T-mobile has the Pearl flip and the new 8900 Curve. Verizon has the Storm and will be getting the Niagara and Pearl flip.

How is it fair for Sprint to be stuck with the original Curve and original Pearl? People from Sprint said that the Nextel Curve is their only new Blackberry for quite awhile. I'm hoping their wrong because Sprint will be far behind. I'm holding on to my $150 upgrade for a new blackberry. Hopefully the Bold, Niagara, or even the Pearl flip. I have the 8830 now.

It only blows for people who cant figure it out...thats why they get BlackBerries...that or Sprint cuts corners ontheir WM devices... Iguess both are probably true I mean when your stock is cheaper than a 6" sandwich form Subway some corners probably do need to be cut 🤣 🤣

While I agree with you about Windows mobile. Sprint has more features on Windows mobile phones then any other carrier. U.S. Cellular does not even offer service in my area! That Blows! 🤣

I have totally customized my Diamond to the way I want it.

Appearance
I have changed my system font, Start icon along with all other icons in the task bar, changed my TF3D clock to one I made, edited registry to make icons and scroll bars bigger and more finger friendly, local weather (Hawaii) in weather tab, etc.

Programs
Music ID (Listens to a song playing and identifies it for you.)
Games (Uno, Pac-Man, Monopoly, and many more.)
Touch Response (enables haptic feedback when you touch the screen)
PCM Keyboard (free full qwerty touchscreen keyboard with my own skin)
Finger KB (another Keyboard)
GRemote (Use my phone as a wireless mouse using touchscreen or accelerometer)
Skyfire Browser (enables flash video playback)

I haven't heard of any new Blackberries coming to Sprint. Truthfully, Blackberry isn't a big seller in my store. Though I can't confirm this, I believe Sprint only keeps Blackberry to satisfy those die-hard Blackberry users. In fact, a few other reps have used Blackberries and gave them up as soon as they had the chance. I'm not saying they aren't good devices, I just don't think they're for everyone.

Actually...of the 50+ plus phones I personally sell per month, 15 to 20 of them are probably bb curves. And three ppl in my store have them and love them, so it really just depends on your area and the type of people in your market. But blackberry has been a huge seller where i am.

Well that's good. Funny how different two stores can be. Blackberry has the highest return rate of any brand in our store and you're selling a ton! I guess I just don't see what's special about them considering all the other PDA's seem to do just the same and sometimes better.

I read Sprint will be getting the Bold 9030 (codename: Niagara), Curve 8930 (codename: Jupiter), and the Pearl Flip 8230 (codename: Apex). But they probably won't be released until sometime around Q3-Q4 2009.

Oh cool, the sooner the better. I was just guessing, seeing as how these phones tend to get pushed back and what not. I think the earliest they will launch will be Summer 2009. I found the article on PhoneArena.

blackberries are the biggest selling pda phones out there. they strike a cord with business and consumer users alike mostly due to its form factor and ease of use.

Windows mobile phones may have more functionality on paper but its execution is poor. Either touch screen is too small, battery lasts only half a day, performance lags like a mofo, or the phone weighs a ton!

Palm phones are outdated (pre will change that but thats only ONE palm phone).

Blackberry is the best option. Its got fast, easy, and reliable email service withotu draining your battery. the phoens battery lasts twice as long as winmo and the os is more stable w/ less lag time. Plus these phones actually have camera flash, a REAL alarm clock, and you can carry...
