Ready link

Ok I know it is slow and I do have my eyes open for a Qchat phone that I like. Until then both my girlfriend and I have ready link phones and would like to use the feature. I did a update profile to my Power Vision and now my Ready Link does not work and when we were in the store yesterday, we were told that we could not add it to her account. Is this true? Did they totally turn this off? Why did mine work fine until I updated the phone?

Honestly ready-link is a next to dead feature, as far as I know... It could have been with the latest profile update messed with how the readylink on your phone was being accessed. Honestly im not sure. However, I am nearly 100% positive that if you go into a store, you won't find anyone who will be able to help you. What your going to have todo, (and I apologize in advance because this is prolly going to be more then a mission for you). You're going to have to contact cust. service, and ask to be transfered to the Tech. Support Department.

Most likley what will happen, is that the first operator you speak to, after being connected to tech. support will go over some basic trouble-shooting with you. After they will figure out that the...

I thought that ready-link was a discontined Sprint feature?
I'm at work with limited net access so I can't search very far into this, but iirc, Sprint discontinued that service when Qchat hit the market.

Well i tried but did not get anywhere. Tech said that because I did the update profile on the phone under power vision, they said the phone basically turned off the ready link and it could not be restored. I dont know if I beleive this, but what else can I do? Guess I might have to buy a V950 😁

Tech support can only trouble shoot and not add service codes. ready link cannot be added on anymore and will be decommissioned in july for all customers. the renegade is a pretty good phone but if you dont care for motorola (which I don't) I suggest trying the pro 700 if you're not a moto fan.

You say that ReadyLink will be decommissioned in July. Does this mean QChat will be available nationwide?
