Advice?

So I've had the lg rumor for about a year and a half and yeah... I'm bored with it.
I want to get the Lotus
Cheapest I can find it through sprint is 159.99.
In looking online the typical 3rd party guys (I.E. wirefly etc.) I'm seeing it as cheap as a penny with 2 year contract.
I don't mind signing up again but I don't want to do a number change, had mine forever.
I'm not opposed to adding a line so my brother can have his first cell phone, but I want the new phone.
If I were to add a line through wirefly and get the discounted lotus would anyone give me a hard time transfering the lotus to my number and the rumor to the new one?
Anyone have experience in it?

There would be no problem switching the phone to your original number. However if you are going to put in for a mail in rebate or charge the price of the phone to the account, the phone has to stay on the added line for 30 days. After 30 days you can move it where ever you want.

Yeah I've been reading up on it and they basically state that if you cancel within 30 days you may not owe the company anything, but you will be subject to a $250 fine from them. As far as I can tell this doesn't include switching the phone to a different line...

and not to mention, wifly tacks on their own ETF's that usually differ from sprint's and then what custservguru sometimes they require you to upgrade your plan and keep that plan for x length of time and they have upgrade fees of their own too asside from the standard $18.00 upgrade fee from sprint. and as for the ETF that they'll impose you can't just refuse to pay it like w/ any other provider's ETF. the worst that can happen w/ that is it will go on your credit report...wifly has your credit card number and if you don't follow their set of rules, they will charge you w/o notice and there's not alot you can do about it...because well, you used their service, they can do what they want, you agreed to it...wifly.com is full of little trip ...

Yeah. I've been looking into it for weeks trying to find everyway out of it. I've had sprint long enough to know that I'm not switching, so I will live out the contracts on both my lines, but I'm wondering how they're gonna take me switching a phone they've sold me to another line on the account.

Reheheheeeeeallyy...?
That's pretty good. Online I've found several for 49.99 with $50 MIR so free but they require 30 days on the same line and you know how long it takes to get those damn MIR's.
I might actually look into this further, thanks.
