Does anyone know how to download the new operating system onto Sprints Curve? It seems like it wont allow me to do it? Its out on BlackBerry.com but not on Sprint/downloads. Tech said its not available for sprint customers yet even though its released. Thanks.

For two months it's been "soon." It was even, "in two weeks" about two months ago.

I just downloaded it onto my pearl yesterday... al you need to do is:

Find the software file for download online
Install software file to computer
delete "vendor.xml" file
Double click on "loader.xml" file
Make sure you check the box next to documents to go or it wont install it.

Everything works fine, theres a couple of new buttons in certain programs, but havent experienced any issues w it so far.

And no, it doesnt send picture mail...boo

yes i have been having it on my curve for the last month and its great! no problems at all, the html viewing of the internet is nice. i know it doesnt have picture mail but i can get you e-mail addresses that you can send so that the receiver gets it like they would a regular picture mail. for sprint i think its MDN@sprint.pm.com MDN = mobile device number. so it would look something like this in the "to" 5047738899@sprint.pm.com attach picture file, then voila! send it and they receive a picture mail without know any difference or having to go to their e-mail to receive it! there are other addresses for t-mobile, verizon and at&t as well but i am not at work and i dont remember them but if i remember i will post them tomorrow.
