Sprint wants to bleed more customers, raising people's bills is certainly a good way to bleed more customers.

Actually, I'm glad he posted this. Sprint's rate hike is going to seriously cut into my monthly gumball allowance.

LMAO, agreed.

To the OP:

Good consumer? Haha, more like nightmare customer.

If you're having so much of a problem with ANY of the carriers that you need to cancel their service, sorry you are NOT a good consumer.

just exactly how did sprint screw 7 million people, are you referring to the ETF's in California? the reason behind that is because if you call in and complain month after month and receive credits for valid charges that you, the cust, choose to do nothing about IE. apply a block for those services, or add on a plan that includes the type of usage they're calling in b*tching about. it states in the 2 yr contract that if you defraud us, that we can limit, penalize, and cancel your services w/o notice. and thats essentially what a cust does anytime they call in to receive a credit for something they knowingly used. as for the data card ETF's which you may not have heard about, it wasn't as publicized on phonescoop as much as the California...

no 🙄 I'm referring to this being the last day of Dec, and I'm sure sprint lost another two million customers on top of the Five million they already lost.

Not everyone leaves a company because they got "screwed over." Some people think that the grass will be greener someplace else if they switch.

Personally, I've had no problems with Sprint. If you pay your bill on time and don't call in constantly trying to get something for free, you'll be much happier.

Well, I never complained for 7 years, paid my bill on time every time. Used less than 1/2 of the minutes I paid for and they just raised my bill. They stripped discounts they offerred me to stay with them, that I had never asked for. Then suddenly decided to take them all away, raising my bill $60.

Discounts that are applied to your account are not permanent. They usually are on there for the length of time the contract was rewewed (1 to 2 years) after that time, they fall off.

The plan you had was an old plan that is no longer offered. No company guarantees you the right to retain an old plan beyond your written contract date, nor do they promise that you can add or subtract features from it without changing the cost.

I realize that you probably weren't aware of this, but that's the way it is with every single wireless provider. They all do this from time to tim
