im screwed

i upgraded almst a month ago, and got the HTC touch Diamond. I really wanted the Touch Pro, I thought I'd try out the Diamond for a while, adn until I got the rest of the $$ to get the Pro, but now its too late, no store in a 50mile square radius has the Pro in stock, adn I got 10days left to exchange, im so screwed.

Call sprint and set up an exchange...simple as that..

^^ do that. Or, call the manager at a store and request that they hold one. They may or may not, but it's worth a shot. Stores get just a handful a week so you may get lucky. If not, see if customer service can ship you a Pro with a return pack for the Diamond.

depending where you got it, you may be able to be put on the waiting list. it will prolly take longer than the 30 days but u could possibly still get it. u need to make the move before your out of ur 30 days.

NOPE not gonna happen. there are no HTC touch pros in stock at all. they says that it will be mid Jan untill we are back at full stock level. sorry charlie

i am fully aware of that there are none available in the stores or in the warehouse, but order support has been putting people on a waiting list even if it is a 30 day exchange.

Here's the skinny on this. I'm a Sprint Store manager, affiliate dealer, and i myself want the touch pro. Sprint is on major back order for this particular phone because of it's high demand. Store's aren't looking to get it for several more months because Sprint themselves are shipping them out like hot cakes to everyone. Now to answer the question at hand it's very simple; call into NSS or Account Services or even tech support. Make them aware that you bought the Diamond but was promised the Touch Pro before your 30 days was up. They may give you a bit of a hard time tell them that you understand but you really wanted the PRO and were talked into the diamond as a substitute for the time being till the store got the Pro's in. Was this an upgrade or are you a brand new customer? When I upgraded to the Samsung Instinct and returned it within the 30 days I went back to my old phone until I got the blackberry curve ordered. Is that an option for you?

Well no, I was doing a 30 day buyers remorse exchange. I had called 8 stores, in a 40 mile radius. LoL But i just got it yesterday, on the last day of my 30 day buyers remorse period!!!!!!!! The store said they had got some in on X-mas eve. when i called he had 2 and, one was on hold for someone, so i got the last phone from that store. So thanx everyone anyway. I got the Touch Pro!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im one loyal happy @ss cst now. LoL its been 6 years, so why not another couple more years.
