New Sprint Phone for Dec
I was in the Sprint store and the guy said there was a new phone coming out in Dec. He said it would "Blow the instinct out of the water."
Has anybody heard or seen this phone?

The Instinct 2s are coming... but I didnt know that was December, I thought it was 1Q 2009. There will be two versions of the 2.One version is supposedly "Omnia-esque" but it is still an Instinct.
Rumor 2 is also coming.
We are also getting an LG touch screen phone.
But I wouldnt say that would blow anything out of the water.

They are going to start offering two Instincts just like there are two levels of iPhone. One will have more memory than the other, however it is also rumored that the higher ended instinct will have 8MP camera. All this is early and the original instinct was supposed to have 3MP camera so don't hold breath.
And no sadly there is actually a Rumor 2 from LG that still doesn't have LG that looks much more similar to the ENV 2. Its ok.

I was told it is a pricepoint issue. The rumor is meant to be a "Mid-Range" texting phone.
Which is why they are getting an LG phone with touch screen and qwerty on the high end... and the lotus.....

Lotus? OMG that phone is a huge flop, I actually make fun of that phone to customers, even LG was going to give me one, I told them to keep it.

The phone is selling alright at my store, and there is definantly a market for it. I've seen teenage/20something girls buy a fair amount of them, and some guys even buy the black one. I think it's a bit over priced but I'm sure that'll change in a couple of months.
What is your beef with it? The design? While unconventional, some people like it. And I would never openly mock a phone unless it was really garbage (see original Razr, original Q). If a customer started out saying it was ugly, I might agree and say "yea, it's not for me, but some people like it."

maybe it was made to target the female customers i mean not all girls wanna carry a bulky phone around. they want something cute and small. i mean dudes are the one mostly into the instinct, mogul, i mean girls loved the centro ecept for all the screens and hidden menus so maybe sprint was like well girls like small but not complicated. 😁 i mean i like the lotus but im one of the only females that LOVE the mogul... but i kinda want the lotus too. but it wont replace my mogul anytime soon
