Thank you in advance...

I am trying to help somebody out...

I know with Sony Ericsson most all their phones have the record option when on a call.

Does Sprint Carry any phones that can do this?

Thank You Again

its actually illegal to record a conversation w/o both parties concent. so if you're trying to use it in court...its inadmissable...what are you wanting to record for might i ask?

Twelve states currently require that BOTH or ALL parties consent to the recording. These states are:

California
Connecticut
Florida
Illinois
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
Montana
Nevada
New Hampshire
Pennsylvania
Washington

The rest just need one party (you) too concent to recording a telephone conversation.

Any phone made by Sanyo can record at least the other side of the conversation.

I had the Katana II, and it could record the other side of the conversation. Hopefully they've made the newer ones so that they record BOTH sides of the conversation.

Yup yup.

but you have to have software installed on the phone...

i had some at one point; i forget what it was called but it worked quite well... recorded both sides of the convo very clearly in mp3 format. i got it for free but i think it was pay software

check xda-developers or ppcgeeks.com if you have a winmo phone

else you could get a digital recorder and the headset adapter from rat-shack and record conversations but you'd need a wired headset

or you could use speakerphone and a recorder
