Roaming
Do you lose you're phone call and have to redial?
Dose the hand off occur without a hitch?

Also if you go into an analog area for roaming it will drop the call 100% of the time. That is if any network still uses analog.
I think certain regional carriers are still using analog- at least until the end of the year.

So what happens if your having a conversation that originated in a Sprint coverage area but then moves into a roaming area?

My understanding is that if your call originates in a Sprint coverage area, the call will remain on the Sprint network so long as you have any viable signal available. If you are roaming while on a call, it stays in roaming mode for the duration.
In other words, the phone won't switch to roaming so long as an active call is taking place or vice-versa. Once the signal is gone completely while either roaming or on network, the call is dropped.
