Yes, and if you work for Sprint Retail check this week's playbook pg 17. It says Device Launch HTC Touch Diamond TBD, when last week it said 9/2. That sucks. 😢

Once again Sprint was optimistic in thinking that they could release the Diamond Sept. 2nd but they have already run into issues. I have heard that Sept. 14th is the new launch date...unless of course more issues come up.

...will it be available for shipment on the 28th or will they just be taking pre-orders? Sprint generally doesn't ship new high end phones untill the empoyee's have been trained on them and the employee training has been delayed untill further notice. So long story short I think your information is either bad or needs to be clarified.

888-312-0050 is a direct line. But dont bother calling in early, those ppl dont know what theyre talking about! See, its not launching "early" today. WHat happens is reps write down your name and number, and when the real launch date comes they submit the order. Why do they do this? Because when we call and it results to no sale, it ruins their conversion. So might as well weave a sale out of you and say "its available" when it really isn't ya know? Some reps do it, some don't. Overall dont bother trying to call in. I called and asked about the HTC Diamond the first guy thought it was a regualar Touch but fancied with Diamonds. Kinda how the Bphone was drenched in gold. I called back and asked about the HTC Victor, and the rep said, "Oh sure...
