Best basic phone for coverage?

Can anyone comment on which Sprint phone has the best ability to pick-up and maintain signal? Don't care about data, texting features. Looking for strong voice signal, used on 'edge' of Sprint's network.

I agree with cellenator (can't believe I just said that). The katana 2 is great for having a bar or two more than most phones, for that matter any Sanyo phone that was made when the company was still owned by sanyo would be good:

Sanyo Katana 2
Sanyo Katana DLX

or if you dont mind not having a camera the Sanyo 7050 is an awesome device for both coverage and durability

I'd recommend any Sanyo handset. Any of them will. The Pro Series, Sanyo handsets have a dual, internal antenna for better signal.
