Merger with Tmobile? Why do all the trolls think that would be bad for Sprint?

Good, that would be great turning into the number 1 carrier via a merger. My job would be safe and it would be good to be #1 and meld tmobile and Sprint. Only thing is if you read past the headlines you would know that the chance of a merger taking place is VERY VERY VERY slim... Sprint's buyout of Nextel was regarded as one of the worst merger/buy outs in history because the technology was different. Tmobile would be confronted with the same issues and theyre doing fine now so why would they want to takje a chance of a 50 billion dollar disaster? Most expert opinions agree they wont.

Not sure why everyone thinks it would be a "bad" thing for Sprint for Deutsche to buy them out. The same type deals has made Verizon, ATT, Tmobile, and Spr...

Sprint isnt going anywhere. Its not like theyre just going to go out of business and you'll be out of phone service. Sprint is huge, their landline division renamed Embarq does fine and records profits when other landline carriers are showing losses. Sprint owns 51% of the new 4g WiMax company Clearwire.
The only thing that has been wrong with Sprint is they had a billing system prone to errors which has since been decomissioned, and alot of poorly trained call center employees because Sprint gre so fast they couldnt keep up with the call centers. Sprint is focusing on better customer service and policies in their retail stores and call centers and for 4 months in a row churn has gone down.

I accidently hit enter! 😕 When choosing between Tmobile and Sprint it is like choosing between a Hyundai and a Corvette. There is NO comparison. Sprint has WAY more coverage, a far more advanced network, more bandwidth, WAY WAY better data speeds(Sprint=Broadband Tmobile=dial up), tons cooler features like live TV and unlimited possibilities with their data speeds for all sorts of applications. No carrier beats Sprint's data services.

So I dont know about you but the only thing Tmobile has Sprint beat in is customer service, so unless you plan on calling in every day to chat with a customer service rep you would be crazy for choosing anything but Sprint if youre choosing bewteen Sprint and Tmobile. Tmobile is a decent company and...

can anyone say pound for pound who is better sprint or t-mobile. we all know sprint has bad customer service and the t-mobile just launched 3g in new york and while their has been no official word on sprint going out of business the general consensus is that they are in financial trouble i live in Detroit sprint and t mobile both have pretty good service but i don't want switch to them and their about to tank as a company because right now they are viewed as weak and a acquisition target despite the fact that they have pretty good service i just simply want know if its worth leaving t mobile for sprint my contract is up?

Hey bro, dont worry too much about reputation. Jump on with Spri...

Agree with the above statement, get a Sprint phone, you have 30 days to decide if you want to take it back. I would be very surprised if you didnt like it. My honest opinion is I would choose the carriers in this order, Sprint or Verizon, then ATT, then Tmobile. I just would never get tmobile because their data speed sucks SO bad. There is a night and day difference in reading a CNN article on Sprints mobile web versus Tmobile's, NIGHT AND DAY.

True. When i recently graduated from High School, all my friends that had Tmobile were always with 0 bars inside the school building. They were always bowering other peoples phones and it would suck because when you would text them, they would never get the text until they went outside the building. We live deep in the heart of Utah, and theres coverage all throughout our valley. Except T-mobile, it never works inside buildings its the wierdest thing. Dropped calls even when they have all bars! Truth be told, I have NEVER had a SINGLE dropped call ever since ive had Sprint. Even before i was employed, i had a little blue SCP-7200 which i had throughtout Junior High with my mom and pops. Never had a single dropped call since ive had Sprint! M...

Haha, that was one of the most durable, best reception phones sprint has ever carried. People loved that phone. It was actually the predecessor of the Sanyo 4900, 4920, then 4930. People love all those models, not the most high tech but durable and reliable.

No I was just using that as an example. I read alot of CNN on my phone. There wont really be an article comparing the two because there is no comparison. Sprint runs EVDO (broadband mobiole web 3g) and in alot of areas is it EVDO revA which is even faster. Tmobile runs 2g, so literally you are comparing broadband to dial up internet speeds. Sprint will have 4g rolled out widespread most likely before Tmobile ever can get 3g rolled out widespread. Trust me man, go to a Sprint store with your Tmobile phone, go to m.cnn.com (CNN's mobile website) on your tmobile, then go to the same site on one of Sprint's demo/store display phones. You will see a HUGE difference. Hell go to www.nowisgood.com on your home computer and watch the video co...

i take offense to that. my hyundai has a much better warranty and will last a lot longer than any GM POS that they make.

Just bustin ur balls on that one. but one thing that is true in that analogy, is that you will pay more for your 'vette (sprint) than your hyundai (tmobile)
