I would really like to know if I could purchase an unlocked CDMA phone and have it activated on Sprint network. I tried talking to technical support at Sprint but I undoubtedly knew more than her. I would really like to know. 😳

For some reason, (insert company line here) Sprint won't let their cusomers activate a non sprint CDMA phone. BTW what phone were u looking at getting?

They don't have the ability to check the esn and have it frequently check to make sure no one changed it. If they let you, it would make it easier to have people activate a phone without your knowledge and run up your bill.
