1) WiMax: I worked for Clearwire for 2 years beefing the company up before it went public and I can assure you in my decade working in wireless solutions that WiMax is something to be excited about.

2) New Phones: The Instinct, Android Phones, We are getting another LG Texter and a Rumor2, New Palm devices, WiMo 6.1, the updated Manila interface by HTC featured on the Diamond and Raphael, Qchat phones out the a$$, and a Samsung Texter all before the end of 08. Do you see any other carriers getting that aggressive with their handset lineup for 08 in the US? No you don't, you see a bunch of people recycling the same bullsh!t and shoving it down their customers throats. If the instinct is going to be a flop then why is Apple a...

Wow, sexist retorts that are totally unrelated to the subject at hand.

Lets break down what happened her. She posted some reasons to feel good about 2008, and you responded with comments that demean women (time to come out the closet maybe?) and accuse her of being biased. She then explains that she doens't work for sprint, and assumes that you do.

You then deny it, and probably rightfully so, and again, make another sexist comment (again, proving that maybe you have issues with women, leading me to believe you are either 11 and afraid of cooties, or maybe just confused about your sexuality).

There are plenty of reasons to look forward to with Sprint.

No need to be a hater.

I hope you find happiness with your next life par...

for Clearwire? Yes... and I wish I could have sold when it was at $23 a share. I am waiting for it to go back up. I did stock options and under the option that I had we had to agree to keep it for i think it was 90 days post launch and it plummeted pretty promptly. It is doing decently now. Little better since Sprint Bought in.

Good luck with that. Well the new company will try to have that CLWR symbol so we shall see. If they do end up doing that, then they should be successful if of course they would get more capital and other attention. I would not invest in the company.

About time people pull their head out of the gossips and trolling, and focus on the positive aspects. AT&T went throught this a few years ago and is doing better than anyone! So let's see what happens..

AT&T never faced the financial difficulties and churn that Sprint faces now. Only today Hesse is announcing the sale of more assets and more employee layoffs.

That's no rumor. That's a factual press release.

I don't think many Sprint employees that will be potentially receiving pink slips will be sharing your optimistic views on Sprint's 08 business plans.

Gee, didn't I read somewhere that AT&T is laying off 4000 employees? I guess their pink slips are that color because of your rose-colored glasses, huh?

He didn't say AT&T was imploding. Reread the post.

The difference is that AT&T is laying off to maintain and increase their profitability. Sprint is doing to to try and stay afloat. So, it is a sad thing for anyone from either company to loose their jobs, but AT&T is not doing it for the same reason as Sprint.

Unfortunately, you have no sense of humor.

And explain that logic to the 4000 who will be getting a pink slip.

I do believe I have stated here and in other threads that it is sad for any employee loosing their job whether or not they are working for Sprint or AT&T.

I do have a sense of humor. I laugh at nearly all of your posts...

More than likely Sprint will sell its iDEN network before any type of merger with TMO.

If TMO buys Sprint, it won't be a disaster. DT didn't get where they are by making bad purchasing decisions.
