Anyone watching Jericho?

Everyone uses a Sprint phone, they either have the ic902 or 502! I like seeing my phone on prime time! 🙂


Oh and that was sweet how he killed that dude in the end!

I know 24 featured Nextel phones (Bauer carried an i860, IIRC) and later some Sprint phones after the merger. Of course, the company had other promotional tie-ins as well (as in clips and other content exclusively on Sprint's service).

Nice. Don't forget the others that use Nextel.

I think all of the Law & Order shows, all of the CSI shows, Vegas, NCIS, and my favorite show, The Shield.

You'd think with all that free advertising Sprint would be doing better. But what do i know, I'm just a lowly phone tech.

You raise a very interesting point.

My experience has been that a lot of folks think that Nextel phones are only available to corporate and government agencies, and not the general public. The ones who do know that anyone can buy them think that they won't have good enough coverage, in spite of the fact that Nextel covers over 274 million people now.

...And many who might consider Sprint PCS phones choose not to either because of their rep, or the mistaken notion that Verizon is the only company that offers free M2M, and they want to be able to talk to their buddies.

Yeah that is where Sprint needs to step it up, they could do much creative advertising because of all their unique products if they would only pull their heads out...a new ad campaign is on the way so hopefully we'll see some good stuff!

Sprint Nextel is reworking its marketing campaign, Chief Network Officer Kathy Walker said during a Bear Stearns investor Webcast yesterday. Rather than focusing on the speed of the carrier’s network, Sprint’s new campaign will focus on how customers can use the network to access data services and other multimedia features.

Although she didn’t give specifics, Walker did say that the new campaign will “center around big and fast and immediacy and being able to do things now.”
