Moto makes a good external build, but the internals of the phone are junk. Sprint CDMA Motorolas are like that girl from South Carolina in the Miss America pageant- beautiful on the outside but complete failures where it counts.

Yes. It's not as horrible as the Razr v3, but we also have sold a ton less of them for two reasons:

1- razr2 is grossly overpriced when compared to other similarly featured phones.

2- everyone has "razr fatigue" from the high volume of issues with the razr v3 and krzr.

Dude, I had the razr 2. I loved that phone, got GREAT reception. It froze once, but it really wasnt that big of a deal. In my area, chicagoland, I actually got better reception that I do on my Sanyo Katana II.

In my experiance, through all carriers, moto is my favorite. I've personally never had a problem with "faliure" that people describle. Moto is moto. lg is lg. And I think each handset is good for what its good for.

Moto is getting better each year i think...

Hope that helps.

CDMA motorolas are the worst. I had a gsm razr when they first came out and I liked it. Since the originals popularity, moto has put more emphasis on style than performance. CDMA motos have a lag, among other issues like battery performance. Compared to other phones with similar features, motos are too expensive. If I were planning to drop $200 on a phone, I would get a 755p..... or go cheap with the centro....

The v9 is definitely not aimed at the calls and text only user, given the features and over-pricing, unless they just get it for its looks.

isn't looking to sell their mobile phone department for fun, they're losing money. People don't talk badly about moto just to waste time and air, they have had problems lately, like MAKING CRAPPY PHONES.

I would be very careful going to any kind of Moto on the CDMA network, be careful with some of the LGs as well We have seen some issues with the rumor and some of the older LGs, I usually stick with Sanyo but I just recently got the Samsung m520. I love it so far! 😁

The KRZR, like the RAZR, is neutered by Sprint. They have a habit of doing that to Motorola phones, like Verizon does. Go with Samsung or LG.
