sero question

After selecting the Touch phone, the site only gave me one option for a plan and services... "compatible with Sprint Vision phones only", which includes unlimited web & data.

1. I don't know what a "Vision" phone is, but does it mean it includes a "Sprint Power Vision" pack of some sort? If so, does anyone know which pack?

2. If this package does not include a power vision pack, is there a way to add one? Under services, it does not list any of the packages as available... only voice services, text, protection & international... nothing in the way of sprint power vision tv, music or ultimate pack (and they are available with the Touch as far as I know).

Many thanks.

vision was before power vision and only available to non evdo phones. Since the touch is evdo there must be a mistake on the web site.

or after looking at the site they may have limited power vision to just smart phones as when you click power vision plan it only gives you smart phones to choose.

Yeah don't worry about the website just pick which ever phone you want, then when you activate it they will put the right codes in for vision or power vision, or whatever they do but you get it nomatter! 🙂

They will put the right codes in, meaning a power vision pack IS included in the rate?

If so, does anyone know which pack is included?

they both include the same thing. unlimited web data and pic messaging. So it doesn't matter. but it should be a power vision pack.

Yes the Power Vision pack is INCLUDED in the rate, it's just the basic 15 dollar pack. So you will get Sprint TV, sirius radio, and unlimited data and txt... but gps or extra tv channels will cost extra.

Thank you... I just wanted to know what was included in this rate.

From the sero site, it doesn't seem the gps/premium tv pack is available, or at least it's not an option for any of the phones on that plan.

Is there a way to add the extra pack to this plan... ie. get the sero plan, then add the ultimate pack somehow? I'd like to add the option, esp the GPS.

Sure you can once you get your phone activated, just set up your online account and it can be added from there..or call Account Services at 1-888-876-8381, but yeah it will not be a problem! 😎

My gut instinct tells me that Mr. Hesse will be doing away with these plans, but once you have SERO you are locked in.

really there is no need for all that. Grow up and stop wasting everyones time for your personal attacks and love of others misfortune. If you want to attack the stores itself as a bad move for sprint to open is one thing. But to target specific people is imature, aragant and ignorant.

BTW, the Sprint Exclusive Referral Offer, formerly the Sprint Employee Referral Offer, will be getting some hardline modifications over the summer which will be making them not as attractive as they are now. General Hesse's nukes as they are called are going to be kick butt!

It didn't occur to me until just now... 🤭

I have been a Nextel customer for over 10 years.

Does that disqualify me as a new customer (new line?) to Sprint - are they one company for sero purposes? Or, am I lucky and a new line on Sprint would meet the needs of a new line on sero?

I would be cancelling my Nextel line.

Yes they are one for the purposes of sero, and Yes you're lucky and a new line on Sprint would meet the needs of a new line on sero! And you still could port your Nextel number if you desired.
