Sale stealing S.O.B.

So Saturday night I spoke with a customer about an aircard for his Desktop. The customer said he could only get Dial-up in his area so I checked his location to ensure he would have Data Coverage in his area turns out he was in the clear.

He said He wanted to discuss it with his wife and asked if I would be in the next day. I said I wouldn't be but I gave him my card and told him to bring it back and one of my co-workers would take care of him. He then asked me if I give them you card will you get credit for the sale. I replied yes.

Fast Forward to sunday morning the customer calls me and says he's on his way in I said OK there will be someone there to help you.

So I come in this morning expecting to have a new aircard in my name. ...

Confront him about it.

But also keep in mind that the customer might have not have even mentioned that he spoke with you previously.

He's off today. This is somthing I want to do in person not on the phone. I find it hard to believe the customer didn't mention me when the night before he explicitly asked if I bring in youcard you'll get credit for the sale.

I also recently uncovered that the same employee stiffed me on half the commisions I was supposed to get on a 60/40 split sale we were doing and when he rang me up for an upgrade for a customer of mine he only gave me half of that.

Question... Are you in a corporate store? If so. Tell your manager. He can appeal that sale or even change it to your name in RMS (if it is recent). Either way do something. That is money out of your pocket and if you don't say anything he'll keep doing it!
