1012 error quest

So here's my story. After being tossed around verizon for the last 1 and a half I decide to switch to sprint. Go right? So far no. I signed up on he 30th online and ported my number over. I recieved the phone on november 1st. First off the phone came with no instructions on how to activate. After activating the phone I contually got error code 67 followed by either 1012 or 2038. I was on the phone for almost 2 hours this morning, hung up on twice, for them to tell me to take it to a sprint store. I took it to sprint and they had it for 5 hours when I picked it up they said it was working now. Well it is still giving me error 1012 over and over, the rep said it would take 4 hours and it "should" work and if not bring it back it.

Thats exactly why I Left working from Sprint... have you ever activated an aircard with them? Its ridiculous

okay so another 45minutes on the phone and talked to 4 different people. The last person "promised" she fouund hte problem and corrected it and it wold provision within the next hour or so. Ill check but I doubt it. it seems to me the "provision" is just a way for them to get me out of there hair and become somone elses problem an hour later.

...what im guessing happens is your port is still in progress. Obviously with no phone number for service you cant access the web. Lemme ask you this, can you send texts or make phone calls?

port went through yesterday, I can make and recieve text and calls since last night but no web just 1012

last time that happened to me they had to reset everything on the phone. So nothing yet man? It took me a few tries top do it, I'll tell you one thing though Customer Care aint the best place to do it. Tech Support did it for me in about 3 minutes 😉

Well 2hours on the phone again and the only answer I get is our network is having issues with 25,000 people and you may be one, or it's your phone, and one person said they made a ticket to gte it resovled. at this rate I will have almost 12 hours with cutomer service and not a damn thing!!!!!!!!

What kind of phone is it? If its a motorola razr thats a known issue with a lot of the newer ones!

werd, open the back of the phone take out the battery, if the HEX serial # starts off with a 0 take it back to the place you purchased it from. they have had problems with that batch.
p.s. let us know what is happening unless its working now and you dont need us anymore ☚ī¸
