Hello Sprint

I am planning to port my number from T-mobile to Sprint in the very near future(next week). While I have been a 4 year, very satisfied customer with T-mobile, for some reason I know longer get service with them at where work. Something about the FCC made them turn off a tower. The biggest transition for me will be the phones. I'm used to having 2-3 different phones that I can use, just be switching the SIM card out and into another. With sprint I won't have this luxury, which is why I'm willing to spend whatever it takes to get a nice phone that will work well for me.
Does anyone have any advice on what would be the best Smartphone Sprint offers? I have reviewed the Palm Centro, HTC Mogul, Moto Q, and have seen previews of the HT...

i have played a little with the treo 755, so id on't have a whole lot of information for you, but i have heard that the touch screen dialing on the mogul is very difficult while driving. it is a great phone with really nice features, but i don't reccomend it if you spend time possibly dialing while driving

Signal Strength & Call Quality = Moto Q, but battery life is not that bad, you'd have to do some tweaks.

Palm Centro is great in all three areas but not excellent also the keyboard is REALLY small, it'll depend on you, if you think you can handle it.

the HTC Touch you say you have seen reviews for, I hope is not the GSM version, I hope when you are looking for reviews type in SPRINT TOUCH because this phone is different than the one in Europe. We have Twice the memory and processor but no WiFi and 'allowable' GPS. We have a really improved keyboard and better TouchFlo with pictures. Someone I know has this phone early and said everything about is really good, especially signal strength and call quality but you'd still have to charge ev...

Well with the 3 phones you listed the HTC Mogul would be the best choice. The Moto Q is crap and since you are a guy I don't think you would be too happy with the Centro. If you have big hands/fingers you would have a hard time typing on it.

I would have to disagree with the other responses to your post as I am unclear exactly what either of them are trying to communicate to you. But let me give you a rundown of what I do know.

PHONES THAT WORK WITH $15-$25 POWER VISION PACKAGES

Motorola Q = Is good if you want something thin, however it has SIGNAL and BATTERY LIFE PROBLEMS. It is also not powervision (meaning: no tv, radio, or music store). Phone also does not have GPS. Does have windows mobile 5, but moves rather slow as the processing power does not support the OS. This is a good beginner phone but not the best for a power user. Windows mobile requires that you end running processes from the settings menu. The more heavily you use the phone the more freq...
