slowest data ever!!
i know that everyone thinks that evdo is soo amazing but i just switched to ATT and edge is soo fast; last week i had full bars on evdo and it took 3 minutes to load a dirty web page. i got carpeltunnel from taking so long!

you were actually in 1xrtt
coverage isn't that great in your area
other reasons? using it during prime time and trying to access tower when everyone else is trying....
ultimately i don't know though... evdo is faster than edge... just look at the specs

Sorry but the slowest ever data award goes to NEXTEL. I know 1st hand it takes at least 5 minutes for me 2 get replies to text messages and i won't even talk about how slow web pages load.

Are you serious? I have used EDGE with a data card and with good signal in numerous areas I got a throughput of 37K. Edge sucks. You have to have bad equipment or something. Granted every carrier has thier weakness but EVDO VS. EDGE? Why did you even get a username?
