I'm going to get an air card tomorrow and was thinking about the U720. Anyone have anything bad to say about it? Please let me know.

I have the Novatel U720 Wireless card and I love it. But if you are using it for a computer that uses Window Vista operating system you will need to get the Sierra 595U Aircard. The Novatel U720 has great reception and the speed is excellent. But I thought Sprint discontinued this model for the Sierra 595U. Good luck in your buying decision.

That device is great. I have it and other data cards and you would enjoy your service. Make sure, though if you have Vista, to get the correct download from the download software website. That is very key. http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/do wnloads/index.jsp?internalId=downloads is the URL in which you can download any data card software.

Well as far as i know the U720 is the one thats been discontinued, the U595 is the only USB one provided thru Sprint-Nextel as of the time being. Before the end of the year, I know Sprint will announce the 875U (which is already available and is an International Card working off of the GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA network...its at the retail of $249.99 but sometime in October will have a $99.99 2 year contracted price. But the U595 works and was designed for Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS X
Um, hope some of this helps 🙂

Yes, that is true, but in some channels, you can still get the device. They are coming out with more devices though in the data card range so there will be a wide vary. There are a lot of good data products now so that person who inquired about it can think of what they want.

Why even bring up the Siera Wireless 875U when supremecellgod didn't even mention international data usage since the 875U doesn't use CDMA. Learn to stay on point when responding to a thread sprint_2007. I hope you're not in the direct sales channel.

and learn to make your point like a grown adult and not some punk kid!
