So I currently have a family plan. Not bad, but my contract up 9/4/07. Husband is already out of contract. Want to try for sero plan, looks too great a deal to pass up. The deal is of course I am wanting a treo 755p. Husband wants a phone with gps and navigation and still can't find one he likes (wants to be able to use with cycling, easy hands free, no clamshell, so if you have any suggestions please let us know).

Do we wait until 9/4 to work with retentions? Do I try the sero website? Any suggestions? I of couse want best deal on phones, but I am not very good as a bargainer, just too wimpy. And am I crazy to be wanting a deal with instant rebates? Can I find it? I hate the mail ins. I always get crewed. Last contract promi...

I hate to say it, but the SERO Program changes at the end of today. As of tomorrow, the better handset discounts at the SERO site will be replaced by the same discounts you'd get in a retail store. The SERO plans will not benefit you unless you want individual lines as there are not any family plans at this time. As far as the Palm Treo 755p is concerned, I'd hold off until this holiday season when the Palm Treo Centro launches as well as have your husband hold out until the Sanyo S1 aka the SCP-2500 comes out around the same time period as the Centro.
If I was in your shoes, port out to another wireless carrier like Verizon Wireless as they not only have a better handset selection now, but have approximately 17 new ones coming out for the ...

Either way, Verizon Wireless has way a much better selection of wireless devices than Sprint as well as launching 17 new ones for this holiday season. Sprint's days are numbers when you consider their churn is the highest of all the national wireless carriers and the fact they keep hacking off people, the latest being all the mall kiosks to Enhanced Wireless.

hmm... those are actually the two things that were cited, if i'm remembering correctly, that were on par with the 700 series. there hasn't been a whole lot of info on it yet(that i've seen), so i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
