umm no you can't take it back without getting a replacement. And no you can't buy online and return to the store. You must mail it back in. Someone correct me if I am wrong in translating that no!

Has the policy changed at Sprint Corporate stores changed since I left in March? At that time you could return a phone to a corporate store that had been purchased from either telesales or Sprint's website.

Unless you want to waist a lot of your time and have a very large headache you need to return that phone through the mail. Just call customer service at *2 and ask them to send you a return kit. The only way for your refund to be properly processed is to return your phone through the same channel in wich you purchased it. Also it can sometimes with phones returned through the mail take up to two billing cycles for the credit to show on your account.

You can do a return at a Sprint store, you just have to have the proper paperwork, and everything including the box to do the return. The store also has to have some fax from telesales showing the sale. But if you return it at a Sprint store, you have to do an exchange right then and there. I played the return it to Sprint warehouse for the credit, trust me it's NOT worth it! I am still awaitinf a credit from a phone I returned in June to appear on my bill still.

You can return equipment at store that you bought online or through telesales. It's a bitch. You have to call order support and have them e-mail you a return merch authorization. To get this you have to have EVERY piece of information in the world available right down to the amount of tax that was paid on the purchase. I had to call on a sup call last week and it took over an hour to get the RMA email sent out. When I finally got the email they had left information out and it didn't work. Return it the way you got it. Trust me.

Technically, the way I've been able to do this is once it's returned to the store, the agent has to create a followup on the account, and once that followup is finished, and the account is noted, try online, if not call cust service and have them see what they do.

The thing is tho, 3rd party stores like mine, and the customers suffer when people buy from online. My job is to do buisness and help with my customer's needs, if you bought your phone online, I'm not going to lie, I will direct you to customer service or corperate centers, I'm sorry. I work too hard for my customers, to spend time on someone's account who wanted to save $18!! If you want to support local buisness, then we will support you back. If you want to go online to save...

I agree. If you went online to save $18 then you should chalk that up to the risk of time spent waiting for a replacement or waiting for a credit on a return. Myself, I believe spending a couple of dollars extra to get personalized help is worth it.

You can return or exchange your phone within 30 days of your purchase in store. If your wanting to upgrade you phone through sprint.com, and sprint.com allows the New For You Upgrade, AND you received the email of your purchase, YES, you can return the phone to a corp store.

is there any limit on calls you can make and still be able to return the phone? I know that I've had my phone for a few weeks, but am not completely satisfied and am within the 30 day window; if I were to return/exchange it, would I be hit since I talked alot on it?

No, the only condition for exchanging/returning your wireless device under the 30 day period is the device has to be in like new/sellable condition. You have to have everything that came with the device including the box and manual along with the sales receipt.

sorry yean, but he is asking if he can return the phone that he first got in the sprint store back to the same store THEN get another one online and if he didnt like it return it back to the store he returned the first one.

so my first question is why not do your 30 day exchange and get the other phone your interested in, in the same store?

and second, technically your only entitled to 1 exchange in a 30 day period.so your second choice should be the one you definatly want.

we can web match if it is a corporate store, which is why i stated the above, in case you were doing it online due to lower price 🙂

Okay... WTF.
We are NOT allowed to price match our website, well.. I mean.. I can.. technically, i CAN do anything I want.. but if I like to keep my RSM off my back, my discretions need to be below a certain point, and WEB MATCHES do count toward my discretion dollars.

How do you get away with web matching??

So, did HE crack down on pricematching, or...?

...cause I know that in that exact circumstance, with that particular RSM, it was just a slap on the wrist for exceeding discretionary budget...

I do it all the time, my manager and RSM hate it, but it all boils down to who makes the manager the most money, and I am #1 in activations per quota in the district this month.

well, when you double click the item there IS a drop down menu that has (price match web) so i am guessing that if it has that attached to it that it will not count against you. and i know what you mean our rsm told us to keep the discretionary phone credits to an avg of $30 a phone. so unless its a web special we are only allowed to give $20 or below on phone credits.

No, that price match web still goes against you.
And Ive been informed that is NOT to be used with OUR website, just other sites, best buy, etc. etc.
It should all just say "Gonna get yelles at discount"

I understood the question. If a customer made a purchase in store and wants to return or exchange the device or accessory, the customer has 30 days to return or exchange.

If the customer returns the phone due to not meeting the customer's standards, and decides to wait for some other device later, the customer can go into a corp store, and should be able to get the rebate, after reviewing the account, if the HUP code isn't available.

I did notice rufus99 wanted to return, go on sprint.com, and purchase, and possibly return. That is why I stated if sprint.com "allows" the customer to upgrade for the New For You Upgrade Program.

If not, the customer can go back to the corp. retail store, and make the purchase of his or her choice. Not...

yes i would like to return my muziq and then take my money and order ther razr 2 online and not pay upgrade fee but if i dont like the razr 2 im asking if i can return it . also will they give me my upgrade back and let me do it online ? im still in the 30 days

Aug 22, 2007, 4:57 PM
If you ended up deciding you didn't like the razr 2 either you could return that one as well but you still only have 30 days from when you originally purchased your musiq. Don't think you could just keep returning a phone for a new one every 29 days 😉

INCORRECT!!
You have from 30 days from initial date of purchase to exchange your device. Upon THAT exchange, THAT sale becomes final, no more hem-hawwing, no more beating around the bush, thats the phone you get.

Now, if youre nice, and polite, and fun to talk to, Ill probably do a second one.. but dont expect me to, if I say no, Its no.
