Does anyone know....
Does anyone know when exactly the new Qchat phones are going to be released in new york? Does any one have an Idea of what these phones look like?
...
Well there are sometimes some capacity issues in NYC and other places, but Qchat will be in NYC. The phones will be like other ones but I cannot specify yet.

What are Qchat phones? ..... I havent heard of them.
...
Phones that have Qchat solution in them.
...
Ha ha that was a smart answer! Qchat is a solution for CDMA handsets that let them Nextel Direct Connect to iDen handsets. Basically, you will have a cool stylish phone that runs on CDMA but is backwards compatible to direct connect to older iDen or hybrid phones.

I thought it was a good answer too!
Well Qchat has a few components to its arsenal; one being the high performance push to talk solution on the EV-DO Rev A network simply ptting others with that system. Of course this issue that Qualcomm has with Broadcom over this issue, Qchat, as...

What i meant is if Qchat is going to be launched late this year in NY? Cause brany said it might be a possibility.(he didint say new york though) And im also excited about how they might look because if they look like sanyo phones my family wont by them and neither will I.
BTW: its good to hear from you nextel18 ive been following your Qchat development for a while, and getting my answers from you feels like getting answers from one of the top dogs from sprint. seriously its good hearing from you.

I believe all the manufactures are open to develop handsets using Qchat.

Oh with that specific situation, you obviously know that I can’t comment on that for many reasons but the most important reason has to deal with the Qualcomm and Broadcom situation with this issue and their outstanding issues. I can tell you that if everything works in Qualcomm’s and Sprint’s favors that it will be launched in NYC. I obviously cannot and will not say when. When more details are released that I will be able to mention I will definitely update the board. NYC is a huge network with wireless subscribers and there are a lot of public safety officials and other push to talk users who would want this Qchat solution. I know this because Qchat was talked about in NYC amongst many people and it is showing a great demand for it. So yes...
