The Musiq vs. the Katana DLX is a hard decision to make. If your going to compare the 2 with features, the Musiq is going to have the DLX beat with the FM transmitter and 4 gig support. They are both new to Sprint's phone portfolio, if I had to chose between phones, I'd go with the DLX, due to better signal strengh between Sanyo and Sprint's network.

I use to agree but... I am starting to think LG/Samsung have caught up to Sanyo on reception. I bought the Muziq and the reception has been superb.

Hey wombough, nice to see you, I replied to your e-mail. Well Sanyo seems to be the better manufature in my area. I had a customer that purchased the Musiq, and didn't work in their house. They exchanged it for the DLX and works great.

I have to say my musiq makes the Sanyo seem like crap. My Sanyo's would barely ever pick up a signal (the two I have had are 3100 and 8200) with the musiq I get several bars to full signal depending where I'm at. My Samsung A740 outperformed both of the Sanyo's. I have had nothing but problems with Sanyo phones with 7 replacements on the 8200 and none with the 3100 as I just opted for another phone. I hit a deer a few weeks ago and that 3100, which had 4 bars of service, refused to dial 911. Thankfully I had someone else with me and that phone worked and it was a samsung. I would say that it really depends on the phone you get as they are all hit and miss with reception. I really give the phones a workout since they travel across the ...
