Taking the baby off the nipple..

I use this subject line in reference to Sprint letting "complaining customers" go. I find this to be a very bold move on there part, but effective none the less. At some point, in a babys life the nursing mother must take the baby off the nipple so to speak, and that is what sprint has done in this case. These customers that have been calling time and time again, have had there issues resolved on numerous occasions, and yet still find someway to continually have the same issues....come on.. these customers know how to manipulate the system, and continually try to milk the system. sometimes you just have to cut your losses when doing business, sprint is losing money on these customers, they are probably paying more to maintain these customer...

Sprint Giving Military Members the Boot

--------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------

I have been a Sprint customer for over 5 years now. Just shortly after my unit returned from Iraq, we recieved notification that we would be redeployed to West Point to train cadets over the summer. With almost 1/3 of the unit being Sprint customers, almost 200 soldiers, one of the first things we did was get online and consult Sprints coverage map to ensure that we would have service once we arrived. We where relieved to see that we would in fact have service and did not take any preventive measures in making sure that we would be able to maintain a reliable means of communication to our families back home. The a...

Wow. So after you all got your notices and called customer service they stilll weren't able to work with you? That is shocking. I can understand the average customer taking advantage of free roaming and Sprint being unhappy with that, but our own military? There should have been no hesitation to assist all of you with this situation. Good luck with everything, and thanks for all your hard work. 😉

oh come off it. its not just military they sent those letters to it was everyone who used more roaming that regular minutes. Look its great that you go and fight for our country your alot braver than i am. and i thank you for that. But just because you are in the military does not mean you should be exempt from rules everyone else deals with. That being said, most csr's my center at least didn't even know about it until it happened. Im not really defending sprint cause well... they usually suck. So thats probably why everyone kept telling you everything was fine, cause as far as we knew, it was. Good luck with the new service thing, and thanks again or all that you do.

Service men and women should not have to pay for a phone service. They are doing us a favor. I think that anything they get, they deserve. FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one is forced to serve, they signed up for it. We do pay them to do the service in the form of taxes..

If you go that route then Doctors, Nurses, emt's, firemen, cops, prison guards,, etc.... none of them would have to pay for anything.. its just not practical

please they get enough things free. i served in the military and know what we get free. housing is paid for to a limit, you get pay for being married, you dont have to pay taxes on base, you get extra pay for groceries, and you get paid damn well, hell a few years ago as a pfc you got paid $1400. keep in mind ALL meals are paid if you want them to be, not our fault if they choose burger king over a free meal in the mess hall. they are serving their country like i did and i love every soldier for it,but like it was said earlier it was us who volunteered.

a desert is flat with no mountains or buildings to block the signal.. i wonder if that is why they had perfect service all over in Iraq...

Anyway that situation does sound really bad, however the letters were generated automatically from the bill using over 50% roaming.... its not like someone at Sprint woke up one day and said "Hey, i don't like the military lets drop them all"

Your phones you should be able to sell.. i am sorry this happened and best of luck with reaching a resolution

hey man i work for sprint. the roaming policy doesnt apply to cust serving active military duty (im actually reading the policy right now). You should deff call back into cust service and ask to speak to a supervisor. as a matter of fact i have a number for you to call and if that doesnt work you can shoot me an email and ill call in for you. 866-267-7139
