Are any of the other Sprint call-center monkeys enjoying the outage today? We're having a great day. 😁

Yeah! It isn';t that hard to use. I think it's the easiest.

I've been getting pretty deep into P2K lately. The interface isn't as intuitive as Premiere, but it's not necessarily more difficult to use. It's just a lot easier to screw up an account with it.

I don't even bother with it when we have an outage. I tell the customers I can answer any general questions they may have but, for any account-specific questions they'll need to call back. This always gets me dirty looks from the folks around me, like it's my fault I care about CSAT enough to try to salvage an angry customer.

I was a wiz @ P2K! I rarely used Premier, it had too many bugs when I worked there. but back then, whenever premier was down, so was p2k. Sometimes I wish I could go back to work for them, but alas I was fired from Sprint a long time ago. and now the call center I worked at is run by convergys and over half the staff their has quit. there use to be over 1000 people working there, now its around 500 from what I been hearing from friends who still work there.

Which center were you in? I'm in v01, which is the Convergys center in Baton Rouge, LA, and we're getting close to full staff again. With the turnaround, we're constantly hiring.

And yeah, Premiere and P2K both use the same customer database. Usually, when we have a system outage, it's the database and not the program itself. Thus, all programs which use the database cease functioning.

Well I worked in the Nashville, TN call center BEFORE it was sold to Convergys.

Most of the people I know that still work there says Convergys SUCKS! The cuts the Health Insurance benefits almost in half. The Pay rate was cut as well. I remember when I first started their for Sprint, a person with no prior experience could get hired in @ $8.90 per hour.. Now that Convergys own the place, they start at like $7.40 per hour. Even WITH experience.

Convergys blows nuts. It is nothing but a large pile of dog crap. Even West which was a bigger pile of horse doodie paid more. Bottom line, if you work for a company that outsources, you are being taken advantage of anally. 😡

The way I see it, Convergys hired me on January 4, a time of the year when all the stores are dropping their holiday help and it's damned near impossible to get work. On top of that, they're paying me just a little less than I was making as a casino slot-monkey and I got to pick any shift I wanted.

That's a pretty good deal to me. Yeah, it's a ****ty place to work, but it pays the bills and it did so at a time of the year when no other company in this city would have.

Say what you will about CVG. The company's been pretty good to me.

I wish ours went down more often. Some days, I pray for an outage. Which provider do you work for? T-Mo?

that is because no matter what system you are running it will go down. fact of life. eatehr a physical componit will go down or you will get a computation of logical error in the processor.

what i really can't stand though is people who think computers are perfect. I have actually had some people that were actually stupid enough to tell me that eather people make mistakes or the people who program the computers make mistakes. 🤣
