Is it true did you hear???
that sprint is considering allowing any cdma phone onto their network, beginning in Jan 08?
...
Yes it's true and they will also begin to pull out sponsorship of NASCAR and the NFL to promote snipe hunting.
...
What does that mean you can get a Verizon phone for example and use it on Sprint?
...
why would anyone on gods green earth do that, more like any cdma jap phone could be used.
...
What is examples of good CDMA Japanese phones is there a website to buy them? Vzw has some awesome phones
...
verizon would have awesome phones if they didn't have the horrible interface problems... why can't they just leave the phones alone...
...
Because that would make to much sense. verizon wireless isnt in the business to make sense. Also that would be to easy. why would you order easy interfaces that people can figure out easily? When you can order the stupidest interface in the world that nobody can figure out. and then complain because you have to show people how to do it??
...
You should look a little more into the VZW interface, its there because it is easy to use and easy to figure out and most customers love the fact that when they get a new phone it is easy to learn because it is set up like their old one.
It would be nice if VZW carried two versions of the software for each phone, one the common interface and one as whatever the manufacturer wants it to have.
...
One slight clarification: the manufacturer doesn't actually want an interface, it just wants the phone to be sold... so how about
"the original interface"
...
Yeah, Verizon's phones look pretty much the same on the inside (aka interface), no matter how cool they look on the outside.
...
Ignorant motherf***er. "Jap"?????
Nice. 👿

If this were to happen, most phones wouldn't have it's full capabilities on features. You can unlock CDMA phones now. I know some local carriers in my area unlock CDMA phones from VZW and Sprint to use on their network. Very expensive software.
