Did you leave Sprint in good standing? Meaning did you pay ALL of your final balance? If so then there should be no problems.

This will not work. Both networks are CDMA, however every ESN(Electronic Serial Number) that Verizon sells comes out of their ESN database and visa versa. So if you were to come into a Sprint store with a Verizon phone we could not attach the phone to any account. Its b/c the ESN that is unique to every CDMA phone will not be registered with the Sprint ESN database.

How will this not work? ABLINDKID stated he left to VZW, has a Samsung A920, and wanted to give to his bro, who is using Sprint. If this Samsung A920 is a Sprint phone, this SHOULD work, as long as the phone isn't reported lost/stolen or has a balanced owed.

I might have misunderstood the question. A Verizon phone will not work on the Sprint network b/c the ESN will not be in the ESN database. Thats the point I was trying to convey.

Left Sprint, now A920 is deactivated
Wants to give to brother
Brother CAN activate, as long as final balance is paid off.
