For Sprint Reps please..

I am a 8 year Sprint customer and brand new to this forum. I have a real love/hate relationship with Sprint. Basically the service has been acceptably reliable but my renegotiations to continue the service have always been tense. My ongoing huge complaint is the chronic crap selection of phones like Sanyo & Samsung. I have made it abundantly clear to service reps that i wil use ONLY Nokia phones. That is my personal preference and my condition to continue service. I used a Nokia 6185 for about 6 years before i was finally able to trade up 2 years ago for the 6225. Whenever I ask the reps when the new Nokias will be available they never have any information or are playing dumb. I visited a Sprint store a few months ago and they only had O...

I can just picture you as a customer.

You would be the customer from hell 😈

Give me a break. I may not work for sprint but i can honestly say that a rep for the most part does not have and will not give you the release date of a phone.

With the millions upon millions of cell phone customers in the U.S. Nokia is not the only manufacturer that will satisfy your needs. I mean come on give me a break. I don't think a different kind of phone will kill you. Will it?

I say take your whiny ass to the sprint store and try out a new phone or switch to a different carrier.

You mean there isn't someone you can call to give me a better plan? I mean come on, is it that hard to give me a hundred extra minutes? No one else has to know.

"Sir the plans are non negotiable and are set in the billing system"

I'm taking my business elsewhere!

if you ever read the nokia forums, you would know that nokia has been having issues with qualcomm (the owner of everything CDMA) for YEARS, the nokia's you see at verizon wireless are actually rebranded pantech's.

I understand your phone manufacturer loyalty though. Nokia has some damn good phones, just not on CDMA (I do not speak from experience, just stating facts because you do not have nokia phones on CDMA)

this is true. nokia tends to make more phones for GSM carriers than anyone else. if you look internationally, you'll see lots more nokia's than any other manufacturer. your not going to find any coming out for Sprint or VZW any time soon i think.

Nokia is part of Sprints future along with other manufactures that are developing Sprint's WiMAX. Nokia will help Sprint deploy WiMAX in 4 markets in Texas ( San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Ft. Worth ) in 2008. Nokia will offer their WiMAX enabled devices.

this post makes absolutely no sense to me. First of all Nokia has not provided Sprint with a decent phone in all the time that i have been here (4 years). not only are the phones that were released since i have been with the company garbage, they have had no features what so ever. do yourself a favor and try a sanyo for 30 days and you will not be disappointed.

As much as I hate to say it, it isn't Sprint's fault that there are no good Nokia's on any CDMA carrier. Nokia stopped making them. If they don't offer them, we can't sell them. That's all it is.
Any new Nokia offered from here on out is going to be a rebranded Pantech.
