well i have looked at what they offer now and am not too happy. is there anything else comming for sprints pda lines. the closest one i have contemplated is the treo 600 but the service guy from sprint pcs center said it sucks. and i would have to agree. without actually considering anything else, the phone is not that good. example is u cant take out the batt and have a second as a spare if neeeded, the sound is really crappy fron the ear peice. i am also disappointed that there is no bluetooth or wifi. alot of units now have that and none of sprints phones has this? and for the price? good lord i would only buy it if it was about 130.00 not the crazy 500.00 or even 300.00. these price butttt munchers are out of their minds for setting the ...

You seem to not be a big fan of the Treo 600, well what about the 650? It should be out by thanksgiving and it will clear up most of your complaints. It will have a removable battery, the capability to do bluetooth and possibly wifi I believe, not too sure about that one. As for the issue of price, that is the standard price for the Treo. If you don't want a treo, wait for the I550 from Samsung, or go in the direction of the already available I600 on the windows platform. Hope this helps, by the way, what exactly do you need the phone to be able to do? The reason I ask is, that if you want a bluetooth phone and want to save $$$ then the soon to arrive LG MM325 should solve your problems. Or talk to telesales about getting a T608 for c...

Thanks, I was about to give up hope and buy a stand alone PDA. I'll wait for the PPC6601 to come out in Mid/Late October.

I hate having to carry two separate devices.

I'm really surprised Sprint hasn't had a good PDA PPC Phone.

Before I was with Sprint, I had a Siemens SX56.
Good PDA, not so good on the phone side, at least not with ATT.

i was talking with the nokia developers the other day (oddly enough they were asian shouldn't they have been swedish?) and they had a phone with them which is in the proto type stage.

it was a nokia sybian phone. it was a non tap screen pda it had sd slot and 1.2 mpix cam. bluetooth and if i recall correctly it did have wifi i was cunfused and yes it is a cdma phone.

also i saw the new flip nokia sprint will be getting fm radio and bluetooth i believe it will be very simalar to the 6255

how do you guys feel about the new nokias? 6225 and latter? over all i have been very impressed by them! significant improvement over the 3588 atleast as good as quality as samsung i would say

Actually, Nokia is a Finnish company, not a Swedish one. They probably employ engineers and developers from all over the world.

Also, I like the new Nokias on Sprint. If I felt like trading away my precious T-Mobile to be lured into Sprint's alluring employee-discount trap, I'd probably get one of those. I'm partial to bar-style phones in general, Nokias in particular, and an FM radio would make those long, boring bus commutes more bearable.

I'm still holding out hope that T-Mobile will get the 7610, though.
