What happened to my ring tones? From the mid 1990's to about 2002 every cell phone I owned had one thing in common, choice of ring tones. There were a lot of ringers to choose from.

When I say ring tone I mean a "RING" tone, not the latest rap song, pop song, classical music, rock song, belching noise etc...

My current LG LX550 has only two "rings" and the rest is music. If I look for rings on Sprint.com I can't find any there either. Third party sites? I found none there?

Now some cell phone manufacturers have more ringers than others. Motorola models seem to have the most but I don't like the typical Motorola user interface. As a whole I've seen a steady decline in alerts, rings & beeps and a serious increase in music for rings....

I agree. I've always thought ring-tones that sound like music were silly. Besides, if you work in a loud environment, you probably won't hear them anyway.

I usually just put my phone on vibrate anyway.

I've had the Fusic for quite a while.....keep looking and you should find a lot more than 2 preloaded ones.... You can download more regular ones.... "normal-double ring" is a good one to get from sprint...

Thanks to your suggestion I found the normal ring tone on sprint.com. Thanks for helping out. I found it and downloaded it to my FUSIC. For 2 bucks! but it was worth it I guess. Anyway I started the same post on danmobile.blogspot.com. I will see if I get different feedback there. Thanks again I love the normal ringer.
