SERO+employer discount?
my contract with tmobile *it sucks like wow* is about to end within the next 10 days, and i am considering either sprint or verizon, so i want to get some info about sprint first:
i work @ wells fargo, and sprint offers wells fargo employees a 26% discount. now ever since i've stumbled upon this informative website *i'm loving this website*, i've learned about the SERO. so i have two questions now:
1. can i start a service at a physical location and then enter their email address to activate the SERO, or do i have to buy the plan online from sprint.com? if i can, can i just open the plan then use the email address of some "official" sprint physical store employee's email?
2. and if this can happen, and i do ...

2. Corporate discounts do not apply to SERO rate plans so you'll need to weigh the benefits of having a SERO plan versus a regular Sprint one with your 26% discount.
3. I myself now carry the Motorola (RED) V3m RAZR. Support (RED) and help fight AIDS, malaria and tuburculosis in Africa.

It answers all your questions and more, but basically if your persistent, you can find CSR's who will convert your plan. And yes, some people have even had success in getting their corporate discount applied to a SERO plan.
I like the Fusic, just picked up one for my kid. The other phone I liked was the Sanyo M1. If you sign up for that thru the SERO website, it was only $70 more than the Fusic, but comes w/ 1Gb internal mem and a 2.0mp canera.
It's nice to learn about how customers try to beat the system because all the information I gather here is given to higher management so the holes being exploited by customers can be plugged, rogue employees can be disciplined and Sprint can save a buck or two.
Are you serious?
The SERO plan has been exploited by both consumers and representatives from the beginning of its inception. S
Sprint, aware of this exploitation, chose to respond to this by extending it's length.
Hell, Sprint even released emails addresses that were not limited by the plans original terms, like savings@sprint.com.
They obviously don't care considering this was happening, and they still chose to extend the program even...

I absolutely hate the fact customers exploit the SERO Program through various means such as complaining to our customer care and retention departments as well as using a particular bogus e mail address to gain access to it.
You mean the emails that Sprint specifically released for customers to use like savings@sprint.com?
Interesting you fail to realize that customers are being asked to pay more for services and features that obviously cost less.
How is it two people in the same area can have a difference of over 40% in price for the same plan and features? Simple, those who pay more, are paying the difference of these customers so Sprint can entice them into contracts.
