Dealing with an indirect
Pros:
Cheaper phone, they buy it from us, so they can sell if for whatever price they want.
Cons:
Try getting help in a corporate location with a return, exchange, or pretty much any problem you might have.

Dealing with a corporate location:
Pros:
You have Sprint's backing on any problem you may have with the phone or service.
Cons:
No deal on a phone.

So save a few bucks and be screwed if you have a problem, or spend a little extra and get the help you need if you need it.

I disagree, most corporate store will match 3rd party or indirect dealers. It's the managements call. I know we stores in my area waive act fees, put a credit on the account to price match on the account, and give the customer the mail in rebate, or just match up the price as a manager discretion. It's all up the manager on duty. I know each area is different.

I concur. I work in a mall with three indirects and my corporate store will match most third party offers.

Please go with the coporate store. We see so many issues for customers who purchase at an agent location.

They end up with charges on their bill that were not explained.

Radio Shack has it's own insurance that can not be used in the Sprint service and Repair centers and this has caused several issues because they were not explained properly how it works.

I have seen accounts so messed up that they were considered a fraud account and shut off.

Frequently we see the customers deposit not getting credited to the account and see the customers service interrupted.

If you take your offer/ad into a retail store and tell them you will activate with them rarely will they turn you away.

I'm not trying to speak ill of these locati...

I was thinking of porting as well. I noticed the new plans and coverage. The "expanded coverage" area that is shown on their maps includes roaming area. The new plans say Free Roaming - no charge.

If I roam to much...and sprint decided to termiminate me...will i be notified before they cut me off??

I am a little confused.I have said that the indirect is going to give me a really good deal if i sign with him,I also went to a sprint store and he didn't offer me anything at all. So if i go back and tell him all the things the indirect is willing to do for me he will match it??? I just don't need any headaches that is why i am asking for some help. But i also want to get the best deal too.
