😕
Hi everyone,
I've been reading through the forums and couldn't help but notice many ppl do not think this phone is very good in terms of its battery life. I just got this phone 3 days ago and after about an hour of use, 3 short phone calls (about 10-15 mins), playing one song and a 3 text messages...my battery is now dead... this cannot be a normal thing for this phone?...or can it? 😢
I'm a new subscriber and still have 20+ days left to decide if I should keep this model or exchange it for a new one...
After doing the SW upgrade earlier today..i'm noticing the menus are not as slow to open as before..
Can any of you all help me decide on which phone is the best one to get...I like the power vision svc (I assume that's bett...

I don't think that that is normal for a razr...or any phone. though the battery life is crap on a razr yours either wasn't fully charged or you have a defective battery. If you're going to be using the power vision alot i'd say switch just because of the battery life. if you want to switch your phone but like the power vision i reccomend the Sanyo M1 and i've heard the Samsung M500 is nice too. 😎 hope i've helped. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, Rob. I think you're right about the battery being defective. I leave it on the charger until it says "Charging complete" before I use it. (I'm assuming it's fully charged then..)
I spoke with a sprint rep who offered to send me a replacement razr...but why prolong the inevitable...
Of the M1, m500 and KRZR..which one has the better battery life if using all of the phone's bells & whistles??

I can listen to music on my 35min commute to work show the occasional customer some of the features from 12pm-8pm then listen music to or watch power vision on the way home another 35 min. and need to charge it as soon as i get home. So thats the M1's capabilities. I don't know too much about the Krazr in my opinion is just too small...but most corporate stores should have working demo phones. your best bet for pricing (free phones/activation) would be a third party dealer. but some of the third party dealers like myself don't have the higher end phones like the M1 or the krazr yet. Hope this helped.

Along with the M1 and M500 the 8400 is a good phone, i had it and never had any issues with it, i loved it, it all really depends on what kind of style you want your phone to have

i tried the red razr and had THE SAME experience witht he battery as you had....i suggest you look at the KRZR...its slim, has better software (faster) and the battery definitely blows the razr's out of the water

Not quite. Mine had issues, but they have been worked out by now(one would assume). But the battery life isn't that much better. The Fusic has a great battery life and has more features than the krzr. It may not be as stylish, but it works better, does more, and has a great battery life. Don't get me wrong, I had a Cingular branded razr and loved it. I just don't like the ones they make for sprint....

I didn't realize that it didn't support a lot of the programs that are available on other phones for sprint. I had a cingular razr that I liked, so I gave the krzr a shot. But, I went back to the fusic. I still think its one of the best phones out there. I just wish it looked nicer....
