is it possible and do you loose any money have on prepay.

I was wondering if you can add new widgets to the Delve or any third party apps. I know it isn't a smart phone, but was wondering if it is possible. If anyone can help out it would be appreciated.

I have the pay per day plan on alltels U prepaid service and I wanted to know if you can add txting to your plan on the web or do you have to go into a store or call? I looked all over on account management and nothing so how do I do this? 😕

I got a moto Q from an agent the older one! I know that this isnt the best phone by choice the agent even gave it to us for free but I hate it and don't really want to go back to the agent and exchange it will customer service do this for me ?

Its unoffical but I just got word of a Jan 9th closing date for the Alltel - Verizon Meger. Its going to be a great next few months.

According to my rep, When GTE became alltel, signed and dotted in the contract it was there where it was stated that no wireless company could buy alltel for the nesxt 10 years, therefore verizon is trying to bypass that by taking it to the supreme court to over rule that decision. Ive also heard if that does/ or doesnt go through that alltel will still be availble in the cleveland,tampa bay,and phoenix markets for the next 2 years.

called into alltel to make some changes to my plan and the rep on the phone said we can expect to see Verizon stores by the end of January. Also said as of right now we will be grandfathered into Verizon with our plans so it will probably be a good idea to get one of the higher end plans by the end of December or first part of January.

I am getting tired of all you people asking when is it going to happen when is it going to happen!!! It can't and won't happen until one year from the date the investment group bought alltel you will start to see changes as early as Jan so quit fussing and asking all these dumb questions!!!

If you have a map of all of them that would be great.

We stood in line and got a storm at Verizon and I am porting one line to verizon.

I read somewhere that when you are not out of contract and you port the phone number over to a new company. They do not prorate the time left on the month you prorate.

Can anyone verify this for me because we ported the phone 8 days into our new billing cycle so are they going to still charge me for the whole month? Or will it be prorated since we cannot use the phone on that line anymore. I already have the $200. ETF fee on my bill. There are still other lines of service on the account we ported from.

My 2yr contract with Alltel is finally up on the 26th of this month and I will be getting an iphone.

Does anyone know if Alltel would release me from the contract a week early - I have a razr and I will be lucky if the phone makes it that long. It is currently shutting off all the time and just generally flaking out on me.

Since Alltel is no longer offering the ROKR, the only phone I want from Alltel, would it be possible to upgrade to a referbished phone if my local Alltel COR store has one?

Just wondering what it takes to get out of an alltel contract, I may be switching over to uscc because where I am at in Nebraska is suppose to have good alltel cell service but it dont and we just got a uscc tower, it could also be my crappy LG phone that sucks too.

I am now on my own contract, but my mom said she would take me on hers to make it cheaper also. I want a new phone and my date that I can switch to a new one is Feb.

i know that alltel has a $30 a month tethering plan.

i've read online that you can also tether your phone without this plan by using the minutes in your voice plan. apparently all you'd need to do is get the proper usb cable and drivers, and for every minute you tether it's like talking on the phone for a minute. is this true or would you incur data charges if you did this outside the tethering plan?

Is there any way to get a Blackberry Storm and get it to work under an Alltel account, not VZ?

so y pay $300 for a non smartphone and be forced to have a smartchoice plan, when you can have a HTC Diamond for $50 more with full blown internet?

Quick question. I hate to be that guy, but I don't feel like reading every thread posted here so I just want to ask a simple question. If/when this merger takes place, will I be able to but a Verizon phone and stay on an Alltel plan? Verizon clearly has better phones but i like the plans/service of Alltel. If so, when would be the earliest I can expect to do this. I am able to upgrade whenever.
