New website, needs feedback, with password to cheaper prices

Basically we have just finally launched our website from Beta to Active.

We are looking for some feedback about what people think about the site. Is it user friendly? Easy to navigate? Easy on the eyes?

Long story short, for your time and efforts you are entitled to cheaper pricing. Where it says "enter group code" type in "website" and you should see a dramatic change in the pricing. Feel free to pass this password around to anyone, as it is exclusive to phonescoop members and will never be invalid.

HELP! plan upgrade

I joined t-mo and signed up for their $50 family plan over 6months ago... I do however believe that I am still under contract. Does this prohibit me from somehow getting the new family rate plan (of the same price) the advantage being that I would have free nights AND weekends while right now I only have free weekends and free mobile2mobile? 😕 😕

Experienced T-Mobile Reps.. a little help

Yeah, I'm kind of new to all of this. Could someone with a little more experience explain Smart Access plans to me a little more. Just like what happens when a customer only qualifies for that or something. What do you have to tell them.. etc., etc. This is only my second weekend working so I am just trying to gain a little more knowledge instead of looking like a fool

How Do I Become a Dealer??

I'm seriously interested in being an independent dealer representing a few cellular companies. I have a few questions though not sure if anyone here can assist.

How do I contract with a carrier?
About how much start up money will I need?
Do you think the market is oversaturated or still room for another?

I live in Las Vegas now and this is where I would set up shop.

Waive the Activation fee of T-mobile.. 1 yr contract...

Hi, I signed up for a 1 year tmobile contract and bought a phone. I used this phone as my home phone and relied on its service. A few months later, I received no service whatsoever in my home or around my home.. This could not work as a home phone as it would not ring in my home. I called in to cancel my service.. As I have had the service more than 1 month I was subject to the cancellation fee. I asked for a way around the fee and the lady said yes, Under one condition, I refer a customer to T-mobile. I put my plan on Seasonal hold until I found someone.

If I refer a customer they will not only waive my cancellation fee but also waive your activation fee (35.00 value).

You will not receive my number..
You would not have anything to ...

Upgrade problem with t-mobile

I have been a t-mobile customer for 1 1/2 years and they want more money from me to upgrade my phone then new customers. I am willing to sign a new contract (currently I am not in a contract) but they still wont give me the prices they have on their website for phones. Samsung s105 on t-mobile website for $19 after rebate. From me they want $149 and my rebate is only $75 bringing my phone to about $74. I dont understand this..do you people have the same problem with T-mobile...if anyone knows a solution to this please tell me

Thanks

Prepaid Nokia 3595 @ target for 59.99!!!!

Target is selling nokia's 3595 with prepaid for 59.99. I'm glad because I was going to buy that same phone at retail price or on ebay. I think retail price is $150 to $199. Now all i did was activate the phone with prepaid. I took the new sim out of the phone and put in my old sim (with my original account) in that phone. So now I have a new phone for 59.99 and a rebate of $20. Now I will have the prepaid sim for backup reasons. 😁

Say what you will about GSM, CDMA is the best and it's all here in this article!

Hi guys I got the link to this article from some guy here at phonescoop.com I thought I'd share it with you, I know it's long, I was written by one of the guys who helped invent CDMA, very interesting Enjoy!

Anxio!

P.S. I think it's funny when they talk about Europe going to CDMA after all, because this is the only thechnology that supports our needs...

T-Mobile assigned phone number

One speed bump so far in starting up my new TM account. While shopping, I had asked THREE of their salespeople about getting an easy-to-remember number. They all replied, "No problemo. If U don't like the random one that comes with the phone, just call cust.serve; they'll take care of you." So when it all actually happens today, the cust.serve person sez, "We don't change numbers just because you don't like the current one." 🙄

Question for T-Mobile reps.

So is T-Mobile getting the V600 by the middle of June or not?

I spoke today to a rep in a Mobile store, but he wanted $350 for the V600 with a new contract and no rebate. He said it was unlocked and that T-Mobile was not getting the V600 anytime soon. Another rep in another T-Mobile store wanted to sell it for $250 plus a $75 rebate. So what's the deal?
IS T-Mobile getting the V600 or not, and why are they giving two completely different prices when the stores where only a couple of blocks away from each other?

Tmobile ranks #2 for reception.

Tmobile ranked 2nd out of the top 7 carriers right behind Verizon in reception.. The worst ranked provider is Nextel. See the data for your self.
Go to: http://www.wirelessreview.net/stats.jsp . Now this data is based on overall statistics. The info might not apply in your area. So please do not post anything saying that this company worked better than that company, and say that this info is incorrect "blah, blah, blah". I read it all the time. Companies works better in different areas. But overall statistically this is the ranking in reception and breakdowns.

T-Mobile Gaffe

Not that this is a complaint post - just something that happened with me at TMo that I thought I should share. Hopefully I can resolve it soon enough

Alright I guess I spoke too much good too soon. I used to sing praises of T-Mobile on this forum until sometime back.

But now with the advent of Summer and leaves springing up on the trees - I have lost my signal - TOTALLY!

I have had TMo for 3 years now and this is the first time this has happened! Previous summers were much better and service had only been progressively getting better!

So I spoke to a TMo rep. She and I checked the signal strength on My T610, another 6610 and noticed that it was still a problem. So she said she will
1. have them send me a replacement T610 (I de...

What an Adventure (T-Mobile Fact)

Let me start this off by saying, T-Mobile is the WORST service I ever seen! They suck in every aspect and there is no one that lives in my area that does not associate the word "suck" with T-Mobile those bastards, excuse my language, ripped me off.

It all started around January, when I wanted to buy the Samsung E715. I had been looking around online and it so happened that there was a T-Mobile booth in my local mall. Well, I do go to the mall a lot and can say that I had never seen it there before, quite odd it's right infront of finish line.

So over a couple weeks, I had gone there 2 or 3 times. My father and I were worried what the coverage map showed us, but one of the T-Mobile reps said "My service is perfect". Thats the first lie....
