Circuit City and Tmobile.

Just letting you guys know that Circuit City got in their first Nokia 6600s. They're priced at $399 (gasp! omg! ack!) with a $125 rebate. Also...heard my Tmobile rep explaining why Tmobile was NOT, I repeat NOT, getting the v600. Too many software problems with the phone, and Tmobile sending the phone back to the drawing board once too many times led the carrier to say "Bah humbug!" to the piece of junk.

Ringtones, wallpaper problems - unlocked phone with t-mobile

I have a v400 phone which was unlocked for T-Mobile service and can't download ring tones or wallpaper. My phone tells me (through T-Zones) that although I may have that capability on my device, my phone is not supported. I don't know how to download from Motorola's website either because it doesn't recognize my phone as a T-Mobile serviced phone. Any ideas on how I can get these extras? I've already had to enter all the information to get t-zones myself - what a pain this has been.

Thanks in advance!

Need T-Mobile Phone Recommendation

Hi all. I am in need of a T-Mobile phone recommendation - I am looking to upgrade, had service for over a year. I would idially like something tri-band (for world roaming) with good battery life. It seems the Samsung X-105 and Nokia 6610 are no longer on the webpage). Any other thoughts?

Also, any input on the color Blackberry as a phone and as an organizer?

Thanks to all who have respnded or will respond!

help on selecting new phone

Ok so it's finally time I get a new phone. Currently I have a Nokia 8290(I know, I know, freakin old) I did have the display problems but I "engineered" a solution and it's been working until recently when the # key and 9 key stopped working. I want to stay with T-Mobile. I have been searching this site and Howardforums.com for about a week now and getting kinda confused on my options. I pretty much use my phone primarily for calls and txt msgs. However looking into technology today I would like something that syncs up to Outlook be able to send email every now and then. Which phone company has a good phone in terms of reception of signal and clarity? I had used a Sony Ericsson T300 and didn't like it at all, the OS was too slow, The s...

T-Mobile and Motorola update

Well, I was at the V600 launch party a couple the night before last, and I must say I'm a little more excited than I was before about the new Motorolas. The reps from Motorola seem to think that the previous bugs have been pretty well worked out for the T-Mobile release. Apparently T-Mobile requested a final software check on the handsets, and everyone hopes they will be launching in a week or two. I found it very interesting that the Motorola people basically admitted that Motorola had f'ed up the last couple years, but they claim that everything is back on track. The MOST exciting thing about the whole evening was the "sneak peek" of handsets they claim are almost definitely going to be released by T-Mobile this summer/fall. There are...

Equipment Protection - 7 Day Window

😳
I recently called T-Mo customer service to activate equipment protection on my new Blackberry only to find out that as on 6/14 T-Mo changed their policy. It seems now, unless you arrange for equipment coverage within 7 days after activation they will no longer sell you equipment protection. According to the customer service rep they were experiencing too many fraudulent insurance claims and their insurer, Asurion recommended placing this policy in place. I've been unsuccessful with both customer service and my corporate T-Mo rep to have this policy reversed.

COME ON T-MO!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CUSTOMER ORIENTED BUSINESS?? This one is gonna piss off alot of people.

Watson Here At My House?!

For the reps here... How the hell is that possible? I thought Watson (and most of the sites) was intranet only and no way accessible to just anyone... Especially on THE INTERNET!??! Someone posted a big list of company links that I am around all day at work but didn't know was available to the average pudlic. The post was made in the T-Mobile forum at HowardForums.com and I didn't believe it at first, then I click on Watson and it asked for my logons, so I put them in, and voila, the main page. POS and CAM aren't available, but I was able to enter the New Customer Application screen and get my friend approved for service. Smartaccess, but it's still good for one activation!

Attn: T-Mobile Cust Svc. Reps. Need assistance regarding family rate plans

I am currently on the $49.99 400 whenever minutes, with free nights and free weekends and free unlimited mobile-to-mobile plan. (By the way, I do have 50 loyalty minutes/line on my plan given to me last September approximately.) I know of the other two plans offered at $69.99 (800 minutes with free nights and free weekends and free unlimited mobile-to-mobile) and $99.99 (1600 minutes with free nights and free weekends and free unlimited mobile-to-mobile). I am kind of wondering if this is what they intend to keep as their repertoire of plans offeredn in this area or will there be potential changes in the coming future?

Here are my concerns here:

1) AT&T, at the same price I am paying is offering 600 minutes with free nights and free...

T-Mobile Discounts?

I work for USPS and as you can see here (http://www.usps.com/news/online/deals/) discounts to postal employees are offered from ATT, Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, and Nextel. I don't see T-Mobile....? Is this just undocumented? I really would like to go with T-Mobile...
Thanks to anyone who can answer this one.

T-Mobile - 850 or 1900?

I am thinking of moving my service to T-Mobile or Cingular from ATTWS and have a question. I know ATT used to use 1900 MHz frequency which resulted in terrible reception in a few places for me. I also had bad coverage indoors.

From what I understand, T-Mobile uses 1900 MHz also... which I would assume results in bad coverage indoors.

Can someone please tell me the frequency used by TMobile and if it's not 850, whether they are planning to move to it?

Thanks,
sb

TMobile & Edge/UMTS? Any info?

Anyone hear of anything on TMobile and it rolling out Edge technology? With the Cingular/AT&T merger and the Edge tech they're on plus the fact that they'll be utilizing 850 mhz, where will that leave TMobile?

I understand that TMobile had a lot of sharing agreements with Cingular for towers but with the changeover in the MHZ what are they gonna do to compensate for this?

A Little Tidbit about EDGE...

Read this at RCR Wireless:

"T-Mobile USA Inc. recently said it would have EDGE capabilities on its network by the end of this year and plans to begin marketing the service early next year."

Will T-Mobile offer the Nokia 7610?

I am interested in moving service from AT&T Wireless to T-Mobile.

Does anyone know if T-Mobile will offer the Nokia 7610 phone? If so, when will it be available?

Thanks,
sb
