Attn T-Mobile reps...

What are your impressions of the new Siemens phone? I'm not sure how quickly it will be available for me to offer through indirect, but I'm interested in seeing what any of you on the direct side think of it now that you have gotten to play with it.

EDGE/3G

When will T-Mobile get high-speed Internet? AT&T is rolling it out next week. Verizon is rolling it out. Sprint and Nextel have their plans. What about T-Mobile?

E-715 Question

Sorry if this is a FAQ but I need help and have spent a while looking for topics and this and have yet to find any. I have the E-715 and cannot find a way to mute the shutter sound when taking a picture... Is there a way I can do this short of taking the speaker out!? I heard about some reflashing to the E-710 model... but does this fix the problem?

Tmobile upgrade policy

Anyone from Tmobile know the upgrade policy? I bought my V300 back in April. I had two replacement units already. It's not a good quality phone, and now I keep getting refurbs that have additional problems.

I'd like to upgrade to the v600 when it comes out. My current V300 is about to be sent back, for a third time. Is there anything that I can demand? After 3 phones and less then 90 days, I should be able to demand a different phone and not pay huge fees for it.

Anyone know? I can't get too many answers from Tmobile.

Thank you in advance!

Once Upon A Time...

😢
Once upon a time T-Mobile was a company that changed and or offered new, modern and useful telephones to its clients on a regular basis.

Since Cingular and others have gone mostly to GSM, T-Mobile's telephone selection has not changed in almost a year.

I ask those that know...why?

"Multiple Exchange Program" question

Does anyone from tmobile know what type of phone I would get using the "multiple exchange" program, if I have a v300? Yes, this is my 4th one, I like the phone but I can't seem to receive one that works. Seems like I'm in "refurb hell" even though my last request I begged them to give me a new phone, not a refurb.

I was hoping that I could get the V600 since all my accessories from the V300 would work. But I'm not sure they would upgrade to the V600 in this "Multiple Exchange" program..

Thanks for your help in advance! I sincerely appreciate it.

V600 question (Ebay or wait)

I've reading these types of forums for sometime to get some perspective on when the V600 is going to be avail from T-Mobile. I've probably called them a number of times now and all I get is "yes we plan on having this phone, but no timing is yet available"

Question: Does it make sense to wait or should pay the extra and get it through Ebay? my only concern with Ebay is that if I have any problems with the phone, I'll have to send it back to Motorola compared to having T-Mobile replace the phone under their exchange program.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks..

V600 vs. MPx220

Whether or not the V600 will be available at T-Mobile, the phone has been out for almost a year now and seems to have a bad durability record. The new phone worth having seems to be the Motorola MPx220 (Smartphone, quad-band, Bluetooth, megapixel/flash and more).

Does anyone know if T-Mobile will carry it, and if so, when?

Moto V525 & myworldphone.com

Cross posted from Motorola V525 Forum---

"today i saw a v525 on this website "www.myworldphone.com and it had a different "keypad than the one usually shown on v400/v500s "and i was wonderin was this legit. i kno this is a v525 "but i have been told that the 500/525 difference is "merely the vodaphone branding on the latter. so is "this phone legit because it has a really awesome price "and i want it. thanks!"

I am wondering the same thing. Has anyone out there purchased from myworldphone.com?

The Motorola (Germany) site shows the keypad looking like the V600.

Evidently the 525 is only sold in Germany by Vodaphone. I don't see it listed on the Moto - U.K. site.

I could wait and buy it in Germany when I go bac...
